Individual Individual Championship The 2015 Swedish Individual Speedway Championship final was held at the Parken in Hallstavik on 1 August. Antonio Lindbäck won the Swedish Championship. Dackarna
Dackarna is a motorcycle speedway club from Målilla in Sweden who compete in the Swedish Elitserien. Their home track since 1993 has been the Skrotfrag Arena which was the venue for the Grand Prix of Scandinavia and is the current venue for the Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden. They ride in the Elitserien and are six times champions of Sweden. History 1935 to 1964 The team was founded in May 1935 as Målilla Motorklubb and in 1949 renamed itself Dackarna (in honour of Nils Dacke) and the club began league racing. The team raced at the Gamla Målilla Motorstadion but in 1956, the team rode their matches at the Växjö Motorstadion. Allsvenskan (literally, "The National League") is the second tier in the league system of Speedway in Sweden and currently comprises six motorcycle speedway teams. Until the introduction of the Elitserien (speedway), Elitserien in 1982 the Allsvenskan was the highest level of Swedish Speedway. Past winners 2024 Clubs History From the start of Swedish league speedway in 1948 until 1981 the Allsvenskan was the top speedway league in Sweden. Masarna
Masarna are a Swedish motorcycle speedway team based in Avesta, Sweden. They last rode in the Elitserien during the 2022 Swedish Speedway season but are currently not racing due to financial problems. They are two times champions of Sweden. History 1937 to 1964 The club was founded in 1937 as the Folkare Motorklubb but their first track at Nordanö (between Jularbo and Krylbo) was built in 1948. The club joined the Swedish second division in 1958 (which was known as the Allsvenskan from 1982). Led by Sören Sjösten, they gained success in 1959 by winning division 2 and the successfully defended the title in 1960. 1965 to 1978 Folkare changed their name to Masarna for the 1965 Swedish speedway season and for the remainder of the 1960s struggled in division 2. Elitserien (literally, "The Elite Series") () is the highest league in the league system of speedway in Sweden and currently comprises the top eight Swedish speedway teams. The first season began in 1982. Before that Allsvenskan was the highest division. The winner of the Elitserien is crowned the Swedish Speedway Team Championship winner. 2024 Clubs History From the start of Swedish league speedway in 1948 until 1981 the highest speedway league in Sweden was called Division 1. Njudungarna or Vetlanda Speedway are a motorcycle speedway team based in Vetlanda, Sweden, who compete in the Swedish Speedway Team Championship. They race at the Vetlanda Motorstadion and are ten times champions of Sweden. History 1946 to 1965 The club was formed in 1946, and arranged their first meeting three years later. The team raced as Njudungarna and first participated in the league system during the 1961 Swedish speedway season although a team called Vetlanda had raced in 1950. 1967 to 1985 They raced in the highest division of Swedish speedway for the first time in 1967, following their promotion after they won the second division in 1966. The Swedish Speedway Team Championship is the team championship of motorcycle speedway, speedway in Sweden. History The Championship was introduced in 1950. In 1982 the Championship was renamed with a new league called the Elitserien (speedway), Elitserien being introduced. Fredrik Jimmy Engman (born 9 January 1994) is a former speedway rider from Sweden. Speedway career Engman came to prominence in 2013, when he became the Swedish junior champion after winning the Swedish U21 title during the 2013 Swedish speedway season.
