2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships
The 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships was held at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiya Arena in Doha, Qatar from 5 to 18 October 2015. This was a qualifying tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Opening ceremony World pro boxing champions Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan (boxer), Amir Khan, were the celebrity guests for the event. The event was broadcast to nearly 500 million viewers in 112 countries. 260 boxers from 74 countries participated in ten weight classes, among the prizes were 23 tickets for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.World Boxing Cup Inaugurates in Qatar

Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiya Arena
Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena (), is an indoor sports arena in Al Rayyan, Qatar. It was built for the Qatar Olympic Committee, in order to host the 2015 World Men's Handball Championship. After the tournament, the management of the arena was transferred to Al-Sadd Sports Club, to become the home venue for Al Sadd Handball Team. Yasniel Toledo
Yasnier Toledo López (born 15 September 1989 in Camagüey) is a Cuban amateur boxer from Pinar del Río who won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the PanAm lightweight title in 2011. He is a southpaw. Career After winning the 52 kg Under-17 world title in 2005, the following year López lost in the final to Russia's Vladimir Saruhanyan. As a senior, he stood in the shadows of the near-invincible Guillermo Rigondeaux but when Rigondeaux did not participate in 2007 he won the 54 kg national championships against Yankiel León and the international tournament Ahmet Comert Cup. Fazliddin Hasanbaevich Gaibnazarov (, born 16 June 1991) is an Uzbek professional boxer currently fighting at welterweight. As an amateur fighting at light welterweight, in 2015 he earned silver medals at the world and Asian championships, and in 2016 won a gold medal at the Rio Olympics. Vitaly Vladimirovich Dunaytsev (; born 12 April 1992) is a Russian amateur light welterweight boxer. He won gold medals at the 2015 World Championships and 2015 European Championships and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Career Dunaytsev was born in Kostanay, Kazakhstan, but the family moved in 2001 to Stary Oskol, Belgorod Oblast, Russia. His father is a retired competitive boxer. Dunaytsev first practiced judo, but after two years changed to boxing. He is a student of the Faculty of Law at the Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law. He is married to Valeria. Robson Donato Conceição (born 25 October 1988) is a Brazilian professional boxer who has held the World Boxing Council (WBC) super featherweight title from July 2024 to November 2024. Albert Shevketovich Selimov (; born 5 April 1986) is a Russian former amateur boxer of Lezgin descent. He is best known for being the only man to defeat Vasiliy Lomachenko in the amateur ranks. Competing for Russia, he won the 2007 world title, the 2008 World Cup, and two European titles, in 2006 and 2010.
