2014–15 Turkish Basketball Cup
The 2014–15 Turkish Basketball Cup tournament, for sponsorship reasons the FIAT Turkish Cup, is the 29th edition of what the professional men's basketball teams of Turkey could vie for the Turkish Cup in the final. The tournament was held at the Bursa Atatürk Sport Hall in Bursa, Turkey. It was held from 17 to 21 February. Gaziantep Basketbol is a professional basketball team based in the city of Gaziantep in Turkey that plays in the Turkish Basketball First League (TBL). Their home arena is the Karataş Şahinbey Sport Hall with a capacity of 6,400 seats. History The team was founded in 2007. In 2011 the club promoted to the Turkish Basketball Second League, Second Division. In the 2011–12 season, the team promoted to the top tier Turkish Basketball Super League, TBL. In 2012, Royal Halı (a Turkey, Turkish carpet producer) became head sponsor of the team and the team was re-named to Royal Halı Gaziantep. The 2014–15 Turkish Basketball League, was the 49th season of the top professional basketball league in Turkey. The season started on October 11, 2014 and finished June 19, 2015. Fenerbahçe Ülker were the defending champions. Pınar Karşıyaka took the title, winning their second ever championship. Anadolu Efes were runners-up.
