Sport-Club Paderborn 07 e.V., commonly known as simply SC Paderborn 07 () or SC Paderborn, is a Football in Germany, German association football club based in Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia. The club has enjoyed its greatest success since the turn of the millennium, becoming a mainstay in the 2. Bundesliga before securing promotion to the Bundesliga in the 2013–14 season. However, they got relegated to the 2. Bundesliga after only a season in the top division, and then again to the 3. Liga the season after. Mario Vrančić (; born 23 May 1989) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for German Regionalliga club Eintracht Frankfurt II. Vrančić started his professional career at Mainz 05, playing mainly in its reserve team. In 2009, he was sent on loan to Rot Weiss Ahlen. Two years later, he joined Borussia Dortmund II. Nico Burchert (born 24 June 1987) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper and works as goalkeeping coach for SC Paderborn.
