Nico Burchert
Nico Burchert (born 24 June 1987) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper and works as goalkeeping coach for SC Paderborn. Playing career Burchert started his senior career with Hertha BSC II. In the 2006–07 season he played five matches in the Regionalliga Nord, never managing to keep a clean sheet. For the 2007–08 season Hertha II were relegated to NOFV-Oberliga Nord. Burchert played six matches and kept four clean sheets. In July 2008 Burchert transferred to 3. Liga club SC Paderborn. He played his first match for the club and first fully professional game on 12 May 2009 in a 2–0 loss against Werder Bremen II. Coaching career In June 2016, after having already served as goalkeeping coach for the youth teams of SC Paderborn, he was appointed the same role for the first team. Sascha Burchert (born 30 October 1989) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club FC St. Pauli. Club career Burchert began his career with Wartenberger SV. In summer 2002, he was scouted by Hertha BSC. He signed his first professional contract on 30 January 2008. Burchert made his Hertha debut on 17 September 2009 in a Europa League match against Latvian side, FK Ventspils and came on in the twenty-first minute replacing starting goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobný. Burchert played his first Bundesliga game on 20 September 2009 against Hamburger SV. In his second game Burchert conceded two strange goals. 2006–07 Regionalliga
The 2006–07 Regionalliga season was the thirteenth season of the Regionalliga at tier three of the German football league system. It was contested in two geographical divisions with eighteen teams in the south and nineteen in the north. The champions, FC St. Pauli and SV Wehen, and the runners-up, VfL Osnabrück and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, of every division were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. SV Werder Bremen II
SV Werder Bremen II is the reserve team of SV Werder Bremen. It plays in Regionalliga, the fourth level of the German football league system, and has qualified for the first round of the DFB-Pokal on nineteen occasions. It also has won the German amateur football championship three times, a joint record. Until 2005 the team played as SV Werder Bremen Amateure. It plays its home matches at Weserstadion Platz 11, adjacent to the first team's ground. History SV Werder Bremen Amateure first entered the highest league in the state of Bremen, then the tier two Amateurliga Bremen, in 1956, winning a league title in its first season there.
