The 2014 Iowa State Cyclones football team represented Iowa State University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Paul Rhoads
Paul Robert Rhoads (born February 2, 1967) is an American football coach. He is currently a Defensive Analyst at Mississippi State University. A long-time major conference assistant coach and head coach, he is best-known for his seven-year tenure as head coach at Iowa State. Rhoads played defensive back at Missouri Western State University. Playing career Rhoads was a prep special mention all-state free safety and valedictorian of his high school class at Ankeny, Iowa before lettering for three-years at Missouri Western State University from 1986 to 1988, where he played defensive back alongside Leland Williams. Maurice Linguist (born April 1, 1984) is an American football coach. He is the co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach for the University of Alabama, a position he has held since 2024. He was the head coach for the University at Buffalo from 2021 until his departure in 2024 to join the Alabama coaching staff. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. The Samford Bulldogs football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Samford University located in Homewood, Alabama. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen.
