2014 GP3 Series Season
The 2014 GP3 Series was the fifth season of GP3 Series, a third-tier motor racing feeder series for Formula One and sister series GP2. The series continued to use the Dallara GP3/13 car, AER V6 engines and Pirelli tyres. The title was claimed by Red Bull Junior driver Alex Lynn; despite having fewer wins than Dean Stoneman, Lynn showed consistency to surpass him by 44 points. This was the only season in the GP3 Series in which a team other than ART Grand Prix secured the constructors' title, with Carlin winning the teams' championship by 17 points over ART. 2014 GP2 Series Season
The 2014 GP2 Series season was the forty-eighth season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also tenth season under the GP2 Series moniker, a support series to the 2014 Formula One, Formula One World Championship. Russian Time were the defending team champions. In his fourth season in the series, DAMS driver Jolyon Palmer won the championship title after a consistent season, with points-scoring finishes in 20 of the campaign's 22 races. He won four races – joint-most for the season, along with Stoffel Vandoorne and Felipe Nasr – and achieved twelve podium finishes, en route to the title, which he won in 2014 Sochi GP2 Series round, Russia. The battle for the runner-up position in the championship standings was not decided until the final race of the season, between Vandoorne and Nasr. Dino Zamparelli (born 5 October 1992) is a British former auto racing, racing driver, born to English parents and with Italian ancestry. His father Mike was a F1 Powerboat World Championship racer. Career Early career Zamparelli began karting at the age of seven, and spent seven years in the various classes around the United Kingdom and Europe. In 2007, Zamparelli debuted in Ginetta Junior Championship with Muzz Racing, finishing in thirteenth position. Emil G. J. Bernstorff (born 7 June 1993) is a former British racing driver and content creator of Danish and German descent. He last raced in the 2016 GP2 Series. Career Karting Born in Greater London, Bernstorff began karting in 2003 and raced mostly in the United Kingdom for the majority of his karting career, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the KF2 category by 2009, when he finished in eighth position in the Spanish KF2 championship. Santiago Urrutia Lausarot (born 30 August 1996) is a Uruguayan racing driver. He currently competes in the World Touring Car Cup, driving for Cyan Performance Lynk & Co. Carmen Jordá Buades (born 28 May 1988) is a Spanish Motorsport, motor racing driver. From 2015 to 2017, she was a development driver for the Lotus and Renault Sport Formula One teams. Jann Alexander Mardenborough (born 9 September 1991) is a British professional racing driver. He currently competes in the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for HRT Ford Performance.
