2013–14 Lebanese FA Cup
The 2013-14 edition of the Lebanese FA Cup is the 42nd edition to be played. It is the premier knockout tournament for football teams in Lebanon. The winners qualify for the 2015 AFC Cup. The qualifying rounds take place in late 2013 with the Premier League clubs joining at the Round of 16 in early 2014. Salam Zgharta
Salam Zgharta Football Club (), known as Salam Zgharta or simply Salam, is a football club based in Zgharta, Lebanon, that competes in the . Founded in 1933 as Salam Achrafieh, the club was renamed Salam Zgharta in 1971; their supporters are primarily Maronites from the Zgharta region and other districts in North Lebanon. Chabab Sporting Club Ghazieh (), known as Chabab Ghazieh or simply Ghazieh, is a football club based in Ghazieh, Lebanon, that competes in the . Founded in 1961, the club plays their home matches at the Kfarjoz Stadium. Hassan Jamal El Mohamad (; born 24 August 1988) is a Lebanese former footballer who played as a forward. Early life El Mohamad was born on 24 August 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria, to Lebanese parents. His father was a Lebanese who played football professionally in Nigeria as a striker; he was one of the very few Lebanese footballers to have played in the African country. El Mohamad and his family then emigrated to Lebanon, settling in their hometown Jwaya in the South Governorate. Akram Omar Moghrabi (; born 19 October 1985) is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Tripoli. Club career Moghrabi signed for Nejmeh's youth sector on 11 September 2002. On 23 July 2012 I-League club Churchill Brothers signed Moghrabi on a one-year deal. On 11 October 2012, he scored a hat-trick against ONGC. Ali Hamam
Ali Nizar Hamam (; born 25 August 1986) is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Lebanese Second Division club Jwayya. Starting his career at Taqadom Anqoun, Hamam moved to Ahli Saida in 2006, helping them reach promotion to the Lebanese Premier League. In 2008 he joined Nejmeh, where he won the league twice, the Super Cup once and the Elite Cup once. After six seasons at the club, Hamam moved to Iran at Zob Ahan, where he won the Hazfi Cup twice, and the Super Cup once. He returned to Nejmeh in 2018, winning the Elite Cup in his first season. The Beirut derby () is the name given in football to any match between cross-city rivals Ansar and Nejmeh. The derby has historically been the most anticipated game in Lebanon: both located in Beirut, Nejmeh and Ansar have shared the majority of Lebanese Premier League titles.
