2013 St. Paul Cash Spiel
The 2013 St. Paul Cash Spiel was held from October 4 to 6 at the St. Paul Curling Club in St. Paul, Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota at the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. Both the men's and women's events were held in a round robin format. The purse for the men's event was United States dollar, CAD$16,000, while the purse for the women's event was CAD$7,200. Joel Adams (curler)
Joel Adams (February 4, 1750 – July 9, 1830) was an American planter and soldier from Richland County, South Carolina. Adams served as an officer in the South Carolina militia during the American Revolution and also served in the Continental Army. Adams married Grace Weston, daughter of William Weston, and they had seven children. Adams was instrumental in the successful agricultural development of central part of South Carolina in the 18th century, and was influential in the political structure of the state being centered in Columbia, South Carolina at the time. He was a strong proponent of education, and of military and political service to state and to country, and served in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Two of his sons, Joel Adams II (1784–1859) and William Weston Adams (1786–1831), graduated from Yale University and served in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Kroy Nernberger
Kroy Everett Nernberger (born February 27, 1984) is an American curler from Madison, Wisconsin. He was a bronze medalist at the as alternate on John Shuster's Team USA. Curling career Nernberger competed in three Junior National Championships, with his best finish at fourth place in 2002 and 2004. He has medaled at the Men's National Championship three times, all in a row on skip Craig Brown's team, silver in 2014 and 2015 and bronze in 2016. Later in 2016 Nernberger was invited to be alternate on the US Champion team, skipped by John Shuster, as they represented the United States at the World Championship. There they won the bronze medal, defeating Japan's Yusuke Morozumi in the bronze medal match. Nernberger returned to national-level curling at the 2025 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials, playing with teammate Nina Roth. Craig Brown (curler)
Craig Brown (born August 18, 1975) is an American curler. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, he is one of the top skips in the U.S. He was the skip of the 2000 and 2008 U.S. champion rinks. At the 2000 Ford World Curling Championships, Brown skipped the U.S. team to a fourth-place finish, losing to Finland in the final. Brown played third on the U.S. team at three World Junior Curling Championships (1994, 1995, 1997). Mike Peplinski skipped the team in 1994 and 1995, while Matt Stevens skipped the team in 1997. Brown won the bronze medal with Peplinski in 1994. At the 2014 Olympics, Brown played as alternate for the USA team. Trevor Nevin Marcel Bonot (born May 27, 1985) is a Canadian curler who lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Bonot was raised in Stratton, Ontario. Bonot played for Team Canada and won a medal at a World Mixed Curling Championships (2017). Curling career Men's At the 2023 Northern Ontario Men's Provincial Curling Championship, team Bonot finished 3rd in Northern Ontario, beating Olympic Gold Medallist Brad Jacobs in the A-Final. Blaine is a suburban city in Anoka and Ramsey counties in Minnesota, United States. Once a rural town, Blaine's population has increased significantly in the last 60 years.
