2013 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Team
The 2013 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team represented the University of Notre Dame in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Brian Kelly and played its home games at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. They competed as an independent. All wins in the 2012 and 2013 seasons and Notre Dame's loss in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game were later vacated for use of ineligible players. Brian Kelly (American Football Coach)
Brian Keith Kelly (born October 25, 1961) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he has held since the 2022 season. Kelly served as the head football coach at Grand Valley State University from 1991 to 2003, Central Michigan University from 2004 to 2006, the University of Cincinnati from 2006 to 2009, and the University of Notre Dame from 2010 to 2021. He led the Grand Valley State Lakers to consecutive NCAA Division II Football Championships in 2002 and 2003. Tyler Gregory Eifert (born September 8, 1990) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, receiving first-team All-American honors and winning the John Mackey Award as the top college tight end in 2012. Eifert was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft. Kapron Lewis-Moore (born January 24, 1990) is an American former professional football defensive end. He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft. Theo Riddick (born May 4, 1991) is an American former professional football running back of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Notre Dame and was selected by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He has also played for the Denver Broncos. Jamoris Slaughter (born December 22, 1989) is a former American football safety. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He played college football at Notre Dame. Early life Slaughter attended Tucker High School in Tucker, Georgia where he helped lead the Tigers to the Class AAAA state semifinals before losing to the eventual state champions.
