College career

Lewis-Moore attended and played college football at Notre Dame from 2008–2012. After redshirting in 2008, Lewis-Moore made tremendous strides in his development. He appeared in all 12 games and starting nine. He led the Irish defensive line and ranked sixth on team with 46 tackles, recorded second-most tackles for loss on team with seven and his two and a half sacks ranked third, also added one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. "He called my name last and I wasn’t really expecting it because we have a lot of guys on the team that are worthy of being captains," Lewis-Moore recalled. "To hear my name was really something special. I got a little teary eyed. I knew this season was going to be special but to be captain is just something I can’t really explain. It’s speechless." He started all 13 games for the Irish, but tore his ACL in his right knee in the first half of the

. He signed his four-year contract on May 2, 2013. After spending his first two NFL seasons on injured reserve, Lewis-Moore made the Ravens final roster, playing in five games and recording three tackles. On September 3, 2016, Lewis-Moore was released by the Ravens and was signed to the practice squad the next day, where he spent the entire season.
