This is a list of events held in 2013 by K-1. K-1 Korea MAX 2013 ''K-1 Korea MAX 2013'' was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 in association with the South Korean-based promotion Khan Sportainment and Chinese people, Chinese-based promotion Wu Lin Feng. It took place on Feb 2, 2013 at the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea. It was the first K-1 event held in Korea since 2010. This is a list of events held in 2012 by K-1, a kickboxing promotion based in Hong Kong. K-1 World MAX 2012 World Championship Tournament Final 16 ''K-1 World MAX 2012 World Championship Tournament Final 16'' was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 in association with the Dutch-based promotion It's Showtime. It took place on May 27, 2012 at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid, Spain. It was the 9th annual K-1 World Max (70 kg/154 lb weight class) World Championship Final and the first K-1 event since the establishment of K-1 Global Holdings Ltd by EMCOM Entertainment. Hiromi Amada
Hiromi Amada (; born May 10, 1973) is a retired Japanese heavyweight kickboxer and boxer from Gunma, Japan. A staple in the K-1 heavyweight division from 1999 to 2007, the company considered him one of its most talented Japanese fighters, second only to Musashi. He is also the first-ever HEAT Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion and holds notable victories over Freddy Kemayo, Makoto Uehara, and Rene Rooze. Early life Amada began practicing boxing as a teenager while attending Maebashi Ikuei High School, and won the national junior championship prior to graduation. He then attended Chuo University and served as captain of the school's boxing club, all the while competing at the amateur level. In 1996, he won the All Japan Amateur Boxing Championships. Dževad Poturak
Dževad Poturak (born September 20, 1977) is a Bosnian heavyweight kickboxer, fighting out of Jumruk Gym in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the former WAKO Pro World Low-Kick champion and K-1 Fighting Network Prague 2007 tournament champion. He holds notable wins over Daniel Ghiță, Melvin Manhoef, Sergei Lashchenko and Jörgen Kruth. Career Poturak first came to prominence when he defeated Siniša Puljak to win the WKA European Championship on December 21, 2003. He then made his K-1 debut at K-1 Grand Prix BIH 2004 in June 2004, losing to Josip Bodrozic. He did not return to the promotion until April 2006 when he took part in the eight-man tournament at K-1 Italy Oktagon 2006. Badr Hari
Badr Hari (Arabic: بدر هاري; born 8 December 1984) is a Moroccan-Dutch professional kickboxer and Muay Thai fighter. Born in Amsterdam, Hari made his professional kickboxing debut in 2000, and quickly rose to fame with his aggressive and explosive style. In 2002, he became the WPKL Dutch Muay Thai champion and The Eight Tournament champion (Muay Thai). In 2007, he became the K-1 Heavyweight World Champion when he defeated Yusuke Fujimoto by knockout in 56 seconds. He defended his title twice, against Doug Viney and Ray Sefo, before losing it to Remy Bonjasky by disqualification in 2008. Pavel Zhuravlev (kickboxer)
Pavel Zhuravlev ( Ukrainian: Павло Журавльов, Pavlo Zhuravlov; Russian: Павел Журавлёв; born July 27, 1983) is a Ukrainian kickboxer and boxer. He is the former Interim GLORY Light Heavyweight Champion, the 2012 SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix Tournament Champion, the 2013 Legend Fighting Show -93 kg Tournament Champion and the K-1 World Grand Prix FINAL in Zagreb Semifinalist. As of February 2021, Zhuravlev is ranked the #4 light-heavyweight in the world by Combat Press. He first entered the Light Heavyweight rankings in October 2015. Sergei Lascenko
Serhiy Lashchenko ( Ukrainian: Сергій Лащенко; 21 June 1987 – 8 April 2015), also spelled as Sergii Lashchenko and Sergei Lascenko, was a Ukrainian kickboxer. He was a K-1 and Superkombat Heavyweight. Lashchenko won the Superkombat Tournament Championship at SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2011 Final, stopping Ismael Londt with punches to the head in the first round and becoming the first Superkombat World Grand Prix champion in the process. In his prime he was considered one of the best heavyweight kickboxers in the world, with a career-high ranking at #6 in the world in the LiverKick.com rankings. Hesdy Gerges
Hesdy Gerges (born February 20, 1984) is a Dutch kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He held the It's Showtime World Heavyweight title between 2010 and 2012. Gerges has competed in the K-1, It's Showtime, SUPERKOMBAT and Glory promotions. Gerges was convicted and sentenced to 54 months in prison on November 22, 2014, for a February 2011 drug-trafficking charge, but didn't have to do any jail time on the condition that he wouldn't commit a crime in Belgium over the next five years. Singh Jaideep
Jaideep Singh (born 12 August 1987) is an Indian heavyweight kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He is the K-1 World Grand Prix 2009 in Seoul tournament champion. His parents are both Indian and he was born in India, but moved to Japan with them when he was 3 years old. Ismael Londt (born 12 July 1985) is a Surinamese-Dutch kickboxer. He is the former SUPERKOMBAT Heavyweight Champion, and two time SUPERKOMBAT Grand Prix Heavyweight tournament winner. He was ranked as a top ten heavyweight by Combat Press between December 2019 and January 2021. He was also ranked by Combat Press in the heavyweight top ten between May 2016 and May 2018. Zabit Samedov (, born July 21, 1984) is an Azerbaijani kickboxer and muay thai fighter. Samedov has won multiple titles, most notably the K-1 World Grand Prix 2009 in Łódź tournament championship. Ben "The Guvner" Edwards (born 17 February 1985) is an Australian heavyweight kickboxer, boxer and mixed martial artist. He is the K-1 World Grand Prix 2010 in Canberra tournament champion.
