2013 Butler Bulldogs Football Team
The 2013 Butler Bulldogs football team represented Butler University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by eighth-year head coach Jeff Voris and played their home games at the Butler Bowl. They were a member of the Pioneer Football League, a conference allowed to compete in the FCS playoffs for the first time in 2013. They finished the season 9–4, 7–1 in PFL play to share the league title with Marist. Butler and Marist did not play each other in the regular season, so the PFL used the College Sporting News' Gridiron Power Index to determine who would receive the league's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs. Butler was selected and lost in the first round to Tennessee State. Jeff Voris
Jeff Voris (born August 27, 1967) is an American college football coach and former player. He was most recently the head football coach at Butler University, a position he had held since the 2006 season, through the 2021 season. Voris served as the head football coach at Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin from 2001 to 2005. He played as quarterback at DePauw University from 1986 to 1989. Playing career Voris was a four-year starting quarterback at DePauw University from 1986 through 1989 and earned honorable mention All-America recognition in 1988 and 1989. As of 2007, he still holds DePauw career football records for most passing yards (6,035), most touchdown passes (56), most pass completions (504), most pass attempts (910) and most total offense (5,754). The 2013 San Diego Toreros football team represented the University of San Diego during the 2013 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by first-year head coach Dale Lindsey and played their home games at Torero Stadium. They were a member of the Pioneer Football League. They finished the season 8–3, 7–1 in PFL play which would have been good enough for a tie for the league title. However, San Diego declared itself ineligible for the league title after improper scholarships were offered to football players. Their official conference record for the season is recognized as 0–0. Morehead, Kentucky
Morehead is a home rule-class city located along US 60 (the historic Midland Trail) and Interstate 64 in Rowan County, Kentucky, in the United States. It is the seat of its county. The population was 6,845 at the time of the 2010 U.S. census. It was the focal point of the Rowan County War and is the home of Morehead State University. Jayne Stadium
Jayne Stadium is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Morehead, Kentucky, United States. It opened in 1964 and is home to the Morehead State University Eagles football team. Surrounding Jacobs Field, the stadium hosts press and VIP facilities, box seats and home and visiting stands. The stadium, opened in 1964, also has locker room facilities, MSU's primary sports medicine facilities and the football offices. The football offices have been remodeled and upgraded, and the football locker room on the north end of the facility was recently renovated and now features hardwood lockers for all players and an upgraded equipment room/storage area. Atop the stadium, the press box can accommodate 20 working media/game day staff, and there are booths for home and visiting radio and coaches.
