2012–13 Las Vegas Legends Season
The 2012–13 Las Vegas Legends season was the first season of the Las Vegas Legends indoor soccer club. The Legends, a Southwestern Division team in the Professional Arena Soccer League, played the majority of their home games in the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. (Three "holiday season" games were relocated to an indoor soccer facility at the Las Vegas Sports Park.) The team was led by team president and general manager Meir Cohen, head coach Greg Howes, plus assistant coaches Peter Sharkey and Patrick Lawrence. Season summary The Legends were successful in the regular season, compiling a 13–3 record and clinching the Southwestern Division title. They fared better on the road than at home, going undefeated at away games but only 5–3 at home. The team advanced to the postseason and earned the right to play for the Ron Newman Cup in the PASL National Championship. Las Vegas Legends
The Las Vegas Legends are a semi-professional soccer team based in Paradise, Nevada. They play in the National Premier Soccer League, a fourth-tier league in the American soccer pyramid. History The club was founded in 2012 as an indoor soccer team as a member of the Major Arena Soccer League. During their time in the MASL, the Legends split their home games between the Orleans Arena and the Las Vegas Sports Park. The team's president and general manager is Meir Cohen. The team included a mix of local, regional, and international players. The team did not return after the 2015–16 Major Arena Soccer League season, 2015–16 season. KHDF-CD (channel 19) is a low-power Class A television station in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, owned by Innovate Corp. History KHDF-CD began with an original construction permit issued on June 15, 1990, to "Hey Buddy" ... Broadcasting Company. Turlock Soccer Complex
Turlock is a city in Stanislaus County, California, United States. Its population was 72,740 at the 2020 United States census, making it the second-largest city in Stanislaus County after Modesto. History Founded on December 22, 1871, by prominent grain farmer John William Mitchell, the town consisted of a post office, a depot, a grain warehouse and a few other buildings. Mitchell declined the honor of having the town named for himself. The name "Turlock" was then chosen instead. The name is believed to originate from the Irish village of Turlough. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. The Panama City Beach Pirates were an American soccer team that played in the Southeast Division of the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. The club was founded in 2007 as the Panama City Pirates and played in the PDL in 2008 and 2009, before folding due to financial constraints.
