Football Club Twente (), sometimes known internationally as FC Twente Enschede, is a Dutch professional Association football, football club from the city of Enschede. The club was formed in 1965 by the merger of 1926 Dutch champions Sportclub Enschede with Enschedese Boys. FC Twente's trophy cabinet includes the 2010–11 KNVB Cup, KNVB Cup, the 2011 Johan Cruyff Shield, Johan Cruyff Shield, and the 2009–10 Eredivisie, Eredivisie title. They were runner-up in the Eredivisie in two other seasons, and finished second in the 1974–75 UEFA Cup, UEFA Cup. They have also won the Dutch Cup three times, most recently in 2011. Wout Brama (; born 21 August 1986) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Twente Born in Almelo, Brama began his youth team at PH Almelo before moving to FC Twente in 1999. After progressing through the Twente youth system, in which he was captain for both the youth team and the reserve team, he signed his first professional contract with the club in March 2005. Later that year, he was promoted to the first team. Edson René Braafheid (born 8 April 1983) is a Dutch former professional footballer who currently works as a player representative at the Tevreden Group. Braafheid started his career as a defender with Eredivisie side Utrecht in 2003, before moving on to FC Twente in 2007 on a free transfer. He was signed by German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich in 2009 for €2 million. After failing to break into the team during the first half of the season Braafheid moved on loan to Scottish Premier League club Celtic, in order to increase his chances of playing in the 2010 FIFA World Cup with Holland. Rasmus Mattias Bengtsson (born 26 June 1986) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Jerson Cabral (born 3 January 1991) is a Dutch-Cape Verdean professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Volendam. Club career Feyenoord Cabral was scouted by Feyenoord at the age of seven.
