2011 Team Speedway Junior European Championship
The 2011 Team Speedway Junior European Championship was the fourth UEM Team Speedway Junior European Championship season. The Final took place on 20 August 2011 in Lendava, Slovenia. Defending Champion are Poland team. The champion title was won by Russia team (42 points) who beat Denmark (36 pts), Sweden (26 pts) and an Adria Team, join team of Croatia and Slovakia (16 pts). Results Because SF Two date was postponed from Saturday to Sunday, defending champion, Poland team was withdrew from the competition by Polish Motor Union (Sunday is date of the Polish Speedway Ekstraliga play-off matches). Poland was replaced by "Europe Team" (Latvia and Russia). Team Speedway Junior European Championship
The European Under-23 Team Speedway Championship, formerly known as the ''Team Speedway Junior European Championship'' is an annual motorcycle speedway event. Inaugurated as a European Under-19 competition, the competition age limits have twice been amended. Since 2021, the event has been staged as the European Under-23 Team Championship. The inaugural 2008 edition was staged at the Florian Kapała Stadium in Rawicz, Poland, and won by the Sweden national under-19 speedway team, Swedish team. The next two editions were won by the Poland national under-19 speedway team. The event is organised by FIM Europe, formerly known as the Union Européenne de Motocyclisme, European Motorcycle Union (UEM) from 2008 until December 2012. Kai Huckenbeck (born 23 February 1993) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Germany. Career Huckenbeck has been the champion of Germany on three occasions. He rode in the top tier of British Speedway signing and riding for the King's Lynn Stars in 2016 and in the SGB Premiership 2017. In 2022, he broke his hip and arm riding for MSC Brokstedt in the German Team Championship. Victor Palovaara (born 31 January 1994) is a Swedish international speedway rider. Speedway career After winning two medals at the Team Speedway Junior European Championship (a silver in 2010 and bronze in 2011) Palovaara came to prominence in 2014, when he was part of the Swedish team that the bronze medal at the 2014 Team Speedway Junior World Championship. The same year, he joined Glasgow Tigers for the 2014 Premier League speedway season and 2015 Premier League speedway season. Jacob Thorssell
Jacob Thorssell (born 24 July 1993) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. He is a two times Swedish national champion. Career Thorssell joined Wolverhampton Wolves in the Elite League for the 2012 season, as a replacement for Pontus Aspgren who had picked up an injury. After impressing at Wolves, Thorssell was announced in the permanent line-up for the 2013 season. After continuing to impress in 2013 and also in 2014 Thorssell made the step up to being one of Wolverhampton's three heat leaders for the 2015 season, and was the first rider to be announced in their team.In 2016 he won the Wolverhampton Olympique but in 2017, he broke a bone in his lower back riding for the Wolves.
