2010–11 FK Qarabağ Season
The FK Qarabağ, Qarabağ 2010–11 season was Qarabağ's 18th Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their third season under Gurban Gurbanov. They finished the season in 3rd place, and were knocked out of the 2010–11 Azerbaijan Cup at the Last 16 stage by PFC Turan Tovuz, Turan Tovuz. They also participated in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League, entering at the first qualifying round stage. They beat FK Metalurg Skopje, Metalurg Skopje of Republic of Macedonia, Macedonia, before beating Portadown F.C., Portadown of Northern Ireland in the second qualifying round. Next they beat Wisła Kraków of Poland in the second qualifying round to make them the first Azerbaijani team to reach the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League qualifying phase and play-off round, Play-off Round of the Europa League. Rashad Sadiqov (; born 8 October 1983) is an Azerbaijani footballer who plays as a central midfielder, for Keşla and the Azerbaijan national football team. Career Sadiqov signed a two-year contract with Khazar Lankaran in August 2014. Maksim Borisoviç Medvedev (; born 29 September 1989) is a former Azerbaijani football defender. Maksim played his entire career at Qarabağ in Azerbaijan Premier League.
