Rashad Sadiqov
Rashad Sadiqov ( az, Rəşad Sadiqov; born 8 October 1983) is an Azerbaijani footballer who plays as a central midfielder, for Keşla and the Azerbaijan national football team. Career Sadiqov signed a two-year contract with Khazar Lankaran in August 2014. After only six-months with Khazar, Sadiqov terminated his contract, going on to sign a six-month contract with Gabala FK with the option of another year. In May 2017, Sadiqov left Gabala, signing a one-year contract with Zira FK. Sadiqov was dismissed by Zira on 24 July 2017 for disciplinary reasons, rejoining Neftchi Baku on 11 September 2017. Nakhchivan (city)
Nakhchivan ( az, Naxçıvan ; arm, Նախիջևան, Nakhijevan) is the capital of the eponymous Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, located west of Baku. The municipality of Nakhchivan consists of the city of Nakhchivan, the settlement of Əliabad and the villages of Başbaşı, Bulqan, Haciniyyət, Qaraçuq, Qaraxanbəyli, Tumbul, Qarağalıq, and Daşduz. It is spread over the foothills of Zangezur Mountains, on the right bank of the Nakhchivan River at an altitude of above sea level. The 2004-05 Azerbaijan Top League was the thirteenth season of the Top League since its establishment in 1992. The season began on 7 August 2004 and finished on 24 May 2005. Neftchi Baku were the defending champions, having won the previous season, and they retained the title after defeating Khazar Lankaran in a playoff after both teams finished level on points and goal difference. 2001–02 Azerbaijan Top League
The 2001-02 Azerbaijan Premier League, Azerbaijan Top League was contested by twelve clubs. In the 2nd round of the Championship, the championship was suspended due to the conflict between the clubs and the AFFA and clubs were not allowed to the European club tournaments. The clubs, which had stopped racing, continued their championship with the initiative of the Organizing Committee. But that part of the history, like the "alternative championship," remained unofficially. Because AFFA, UEFA and FIFA did not recognize these results. Azerbaijan Premier League
The Azerbaijan Premier League ( az, Azərbaycan Premyer Liqası) is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Azerbaijan football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The Premier League champion secures the right to play in UEFA Champions League first qualifying round. The runner up and the 3rd place winner secure right to play in UEFA Europa Conference League starting in second qualifying round. FK Khazar Lankaran
Khazar Lankaran FK ( tly, Xəzər Lankon Futboli Klub, script=Latn, az, Xəzər Lənkəran Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Lankaran that last played in the Azerbaijan Premier League during the 2015–16 season. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
