2010–11 Binghamton Senators Season
The 2010–11 Binghamton Senators season was the American Hockey League franchise's ninth season of play. It was the Senators' first season under head coach Kurt Kleinendorst. The Senators finished the season in fifth place in the East division, qualifying for the Calder Cup playoffs for the first time since 2004–05. In the playoffs, the Senators defeated the Houston Aeros (1994–2013), Houston Aeros four games to two in the Calder Cup Finals to capture their first Calder Cup Championship. The Senators captain was Ryan Keller. The Senators alternate captains were Cody Bass and Derek Smith (ice hockey, born 1984), Derek Smith. Binghamton Senators
The Binghamton Senators were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) that played from 2002 to 2017. Nicknamed the B-Sens, they played in Binghamton, New York, at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. The B-Sens were minor league affiliates of the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League. In 2017, the B-Sens' franchise was relocated by the Ottawa Senators to become the Belleville Senators. Binghamton then replaced the franchise with the Binghamton Devils, the AHL franchise of the New Jersey Devils. They were the AHL's 2010–11 Binghamton Senators season, 2010–11 Calder Cup champions. Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL)
The Hamilton Bulldogs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Hamilton, Ontario, at FirstOntario Centre (formerly known as Copps Coliseum), nicknamed 'The Dog Pound'. They were the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens as two separate franchises over 19 seasons of continuous participation in the AHL. Geoffrey Kenneth Kinrade (born July 29, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played under contract with Severstal Cherepovets of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He is a previous member of the SC Bern team of the Swiss Nationaliga A, as well as for HC Plzeň 1929 of the Czech Extraliga and the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). Craig Schira (born April 21, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played under contract with Linköping HC in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Playing career Schira played for the Regina Pats and the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League as a junior. On March 9, 2009, Schira signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League. Mark Borowiecki
Mark Borowiecki (pronounced ; born July 12, 1989) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He ended his career with the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was the first Ottawa native to be drafted by the Ottawa Senators when he was selected 139th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Fans have nicknamed him "Boro Cop". Jared Cowen
Jared Nelson Cowen (born January 25, 1991) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Cowen was drafted in the first round, ninth overall, by the Senators in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Cowen was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in February 2016, but never played for the franchise and retired in 2017, after a pre-season tryout with the Colorado Avalanche. Patrick Coulombe
Patrick Coulombe (born April 23, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the Jokers de Cergy-Pontoise of the French Ligue Magnus. Playing career As a youth, Coulombe played in the 1998 and 1999 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with the Rimouski Océanic minor ice hockey team. Coulombe played junior ice hockey with the Rimouski Océanic of the QMJHL, joining them in 2001. Gryba was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the third round, 68th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Manchester Monarchs (AHL)
The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They played in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the SNHU Arena. They were the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL) Los Angeles Kings during the team's entire existence. The Monarchs won their only Calder Cup in their final AHL season.
