Science Fiction Film
Science fiction (or sci-fi) is a film genre that uses Speculative fiction, speculative, fictional science-based depictions of phenomena that are not fully accepted by mainstream science, such as Extraterrestrial life in fiction, extraterrestrial lifeforms, List of fictional spacecraft, spacecraft, robots, cyborgs, Mutants in fiction, mutants, interstellar travel, time travel, or other technologies. ''Despicable Me'' is a 2010 American animated comedy film directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin and written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. Produced by Illumination Entertainment as its first feature film, it stars the voices of Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Will Arnett, Danny McBride, Jack McBrayer, and Julie Andrews. Glen Jensen
Glen Jensen (born March 24, 1953) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. Glen started out performing at various comedy clubs in Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York City. In 2001, Jensen became a finalist in the Boston Comedy and Film Festival, and in 2003 he went on to win the Philly's Funniest Comedy Competition. This led to an appearance on the TV show "Comedy Show 'N Tell" shot in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as " Comedy at Club 54" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Glen began appearing as an opening act for the Doobie Brothers, Spyro Gyra and Al Jarreau. Denizen (film)
''Denizen'' is a 2010 low-budget sci-fi horror-action film written and directed by J.A. Steel (also known as Jacquelyn A. Ruffner). The film stars Steel, Julie Corgill, Glen Jensen, Ben Bayless, and Jody Mullins, and is Steel's third feature film. Plot A group of scientists must stop a mysterious creature from attacking a small town. Sierra Deacon's ( J.A. Steel) team, consisting of Dexter Maines (Ben Bayless) and Dallas Murphy (Jody Mullins), must help the locals led by Callie Calhoun (Julie Lisandro) in saving the town from the creature that is killing the residents. After several deaths, a special Army Unit, led by General Jernigan (Glen Jensen), is called in to contain the creature, and if necessary, destroy the town.
