Statistics of Nadeshiko League in the 2010 season. NTV Beleza won the championship. As of 2010, by the reformation announced in November 2009, Division 1 and Division 2 was renamed as Nadeshiko League and Challenge League respectively. Also, the number of participating teams became 10 teams for Nadeshiko League from 8, and 12 teams for Challenge League, from 8, dividing into 2 sections of 6 teams. NTV Beleza
is a women's professional football team that plays in Japan's WE League. It is based in the Kita, Itabashi, Inagi, Hino, Tama, and Tachikawa wards of Tokyo. They have won 52 major Asian and national titles, the most of any team in the WE League. They have produced many players for the women's national team, youth national team and other teams in Japan and abroad. History The club was founded as the women's team of Yomiuri SC (currently ''Tokyo Verdy'') by Yomiuri Shimbun in 1981 and named ''Yomiuri SC Ladies Beleza''. Its team name, "Beleza", is Portuguese for "beauty". It was a founding member of the Nadeshiko League (the Japan Women's Football League) in 1989 and is the only Japanese women's club to have never been relegated. Nozomi Yamago
is a Japanese former football player. She played for the Japan women's national football team as a goalkeeper. Club career Yamago was born in Saitama on January 16, 1975. After graduating from high school, she joined Prima Ham FC Kunoichi (later ''Iga FC Kunoichi'') in 1993. In 2002, she moved to her local club Saitama Reinas FC (later ''Urawa Reds''). In 2005, she moved to Women's Premier Soccer League club California Storm. At the end of the 2005 season, she returned to Urawa Reds in September. In 2012, she moved to AS Elfen Saitama. She retired in 2014. She was selected to the Nadeshiko League Best XI 10 times (1996, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010). Nahomi Kawasumi
is a Japanese footballer who plays either as a midfielder or forward for Japanese club Albirex Niigata. A full international since 2008, she won gold at the 2011 World Cup as well as silver at the 2012 London Olympics and 2015 World Cup. Aya Samejima
is a Japanese former footballer. Primarily a left back, she has over 100 caps for the Japan national team. Club career Sameshima was born in Utsunomiya on 16 June 1987.
