2010 Kuala Lumpur FA Season
The 2010 season was the 32nd season in Kuala Lumpur's existence, and their second consecutive year in the top flight of Malaysian football. Kuala Lumpur finished ninth in the Malaysian Super League in the year following promotion from the Malaysian Premier League and reached the second round of the Malaysian FA Cup in season 2010. KL qualified for the Malaysia Cup where they ended bottom of Group B in the first round. Kuala Lumpur City Football Club, known simply as KL City FC, is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kuala Lumpur. The club competes in the Malaysia Super League, the top level of Malaysian football, and was founded in 1974 as Federal Territory by the Kuala Lumpur Football Association (KLFA). It was later renamed Kuala Lumpur FA and Kuala Lumpur United, before renaming to its current name in 2021. Kuala Lumpur City won two Malaysian league titles, four Malaysian Cups, three Malaysian FA Cups, and three Malaysian Charity Shields. It also played in the group stages of the Asian Club Championship on two occasions. Jeremy Matthew (born 20 February 1984) is a former Malaysian footballer. Career Public Bank FC Jeremy started his semi pro career with the now defunct Public Bank FC after he was introduced to the club. Due to his young age at that time, Jeremy was not given any appearance for the team. Yong Kuong Yong (born 18 September 1988 in Port Dickson) is a Malaysian footballer. He is currently playing for CRC Penang in FAP Division 1. He can played in a multitude of roles, including as a full back, centre back, central midfielder and occasionally as a striker. Career Yong started his career playing for his hometown team Negeri Sembilan Chinese for the Malaysian Chinese Football Association (MFCA) League, under coach Christopher Khoo. Liew Kit Kong (; born 6 January 1979) is a Malaysian footballer who last played as a striker for PKNS F.C. He was also a former member of the Malaysian national team.
