2010 Armenian Cup
The 2010 Armenian Cup was the 19th season of Armenian knockout football competition. It featured only the 8 Premier League teams. The tournament started on 23 March 2010. Pyunik won their second consecutive cup with a 4–0 victory over Banants in the final. Because Pyunik qualified for the 2010–11 UEFA Champions League as league champions, Banants claimed the cup winner berth in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League. Results Quarter-finals The eight clubs in that year's Armenian Premier League competed in this round. The first legs were played on 23 and 24 March 2010 and the second legs were played on 6 and 7 April 2010. Semi-finals The four winners from the quarterfinals entered this round. Impulse FC
Impuls Football Club (), is a defunct Armenian professional football club from the town of Dilijan, Tavush Province. The club used to play in the Armenian Premier League, the top division of the Armenian football. The home ground of Impuls was the Dilijan City Stadium. History Impulse FC was originally founded in 1985 during the Soviet days. In 1994, the club was dissolved due to financial difficulties. In 2009, Impuls FC was revived by the efforts of former member of Armenian Parliament ''Hakob Hakobyan'', as part of the Sport Club Erebuni Dilijan. FC Pyunik
Football Club Pyunik (), commonly known as Pyunik (), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 34 won to date. Pyunik is also known to be one of the most popular football clubs in Armenia, along with Urartu, Shirak and Ararat. Pyunik has always had a fierce rivalry with Ararat, as both clubs are considered to be the most successful clubs in Armenia, the latter due to its Soviet accomplishments. FC Mika
Sport Club Mika (), commonly known as Mika, is an Armenian football club from the capital Yerevan. It was owned by the Mika Corporation LLC headed by the Russia-based Armenian businessman Mikhail Baghdasarov. The club headquarters were located on Manandyan street 41, Yerevan. History The club was founded on November 30, 1998, as Mika-Kasakh Ashtarak in the town of Ashtarak by the owner of Mika Corporation LLC, Mikhail Baghdasarov. In 2000, they achieved their first domestic title, winning the Armenian Cup. In 2007, Mika relocated from Ashtarak to Yerevan. They were based in their own newly built stadium in Yerevan. Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium
Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium (), also known as the Republican Stadium (), is an all-seater stadium, all-seater multi-use stadium located on 65 Vardanants Street, in the Armenian capital Yerevan. The stadium was built between 1933 and 1935. It was officially opened in 1935 as ''Dinamo Stadium''. Further developments were implemented in 1953, after the end of World War II. It is mainly used for association football and is the home ground of the Armenia national football team. The capacity of the stadium is 14,403 seats. Gevorg Ghazaryan
Gevorg Ghazaryan (; born 5 April 1988) is an Armenian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or forward. Ghazaryan has participated in 73 international matches, scoring 14 goals since his debut on 14 January 2007. He previously played for Greek Super League clubs Olympiacos and Kerkyra, and earlier for Pyunik. Club career Pyunik In the 2004 Armenian Premier League season, Ghazaryan played for the youth team FC Pyunik, performing in the First League. For the next season, he debuted in the senior first team. Marcos Pinheiro Pizzelli (; ; born 3 October 1984), commonly known as Marcos, is a former professional footballer. Born in Brazil, Marcos represented Armenia internationally between 2008 and 2019. Club career Ararat Yerevan Pizzelli started his career at the Brazilian club São Carlos as a youth from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, the young talent was spotted by an agent from Ararat Yerevan, who soon recruited Pizzelli. His debut took place on 30 April in a game against Ulisses. Pizzelli entered the field in the 58th minute of the match, replacing Tigran Yesayan. His first goal for Ararat happened on 16 June in another game against Ulisses. David Manoyan
David Manoyan (, born 5 July 1990) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cilicia. Early life David Manoyan was born on 5 July 1990 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR. Manoyan spent some time swimming before he started playing football. He has a little brother, Vahagn Manoyan, who also plays football. Club career Manoyan was part of the FC Pyunik youth system. In 2007, he signed a contract with the club and spent a full season in the First League. He later joined the Pyunik first team in 2008. Kilikia FC
Kilikia Football Club (), is Armenian football club from the capital Yerevan. History Beginning Kilikia F.C. was founded in 1992 and participated in the first ever independent Armenian championship. In 1992, they occupied the 12th spot in the table, and were allowed to play in the 1993 Armenian Premier League. At the beginning of 1993, the club merged with fellow financially struggling club FC Malatia. The merger lasted only for 1 year, as the team was relegated to the Armenian First League. In early 1994, the two clubs were separated and disbanded. Revival in 1997 Kilikia F.C. was revived in 1997, but did not participate in the league until 1999. In 1999, Kilikia F.C. had replaced the financially struggling club Pyunik Yerevan in the Premier League.
