2009–10 Ukrainian League Cup
The 2009–10 Ukrainian League Cup was the only season of Ukraine's football knockout competition designated for the members of the Ukrainian Second League and amateur clubs. The main purpose of this tournament was to supplement the 2009–2010 playing calendar of the Second League clubs whose number had declined remarkably triggering some talks of reforming the Ukrainian Second League. Currently amateur clubs are invited at the discretion of their respective regional football associations. Historical scope The tournament was organized after a few mini-tournaments of the PFL Cup had taken place in the span of less than a couple of years. The PFL Cup competitions involved united teams of different leagues such as two from the second and one from the first and the students, players of which had earned a few gold medals in several international competitions (see Universiada). PFC Nyva Vinnytsia
FC Nyva Vinnytsia is a Ukrainian professional football club based in the city of Vinnytsia. The name "Nyva" translates to "grain field". The club was originally created in 1958 in the Soviet Union and folded in 2005 and 2012, but was reformed again in 2015 as Nyva-V and renamed back to Nyva in 2018. Luzhany
Luzhany (; ; ) is a rural settlement in Chernivtsi Raion, Chernivtsi Oblast, western Ukraine. It belongs to Mamaivtsi rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The settlement lies on the banks of the Prut River, about northwest of the regional capital Chernivtsi. As of the 2001 census, the town's population is 4,744. Pivdennoukrainsk (), formerly known as Yuzhnoukrainsk (), is a city on the Southern Bug river, in Voznesensk Raion, Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukraine, about 350 kilometers (over 200 miles) south of the capital Kyiv. Zdolbuniv
Zdolbuniv (, ; ) is a small city in the Rivne Raion of Rivne Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It has an important railway station and cement plant (there is a deposit of chalk). Population: History The town was mentioned in 1497 in the deed, in which the Lithuanian Grand Duke and future King of Poland Alexander Jagiellon committed several villages to Prince Konstanty Ostrogski. FC Skala Stryi was a Ukrainian football professional team from Stryi in Lviv oblast. It used to play at Medyk Stadium in Morshyn that previously belonged to former FC Medyk Morshyn. On 9 July 2018 the Professional Football League of Ukraine confirmed that the club withdrew from competition. FC Lviv () is a Ukraine, Ukrainian professional association football, football club from the city of Lviv. The history of the club is very controversial and was interrupted on numerous occasions. The first club under such name entered professional competitions back in 1992. In 2001 that club was merged with FC Karpaty Lviv, Karpaty Lviv. The second club appeared in 2006 replacing insolvent Hazovyk-Skala out of Stryi (not far from Lviv) in the second tier. In such manner the new club skipped few tiers of the national football pyramid.
