2008 World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2008 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was the inaugural tournament of ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier and was played between 2 and 5 August 2008 in Stormont, Belfast, Stormont, Belfast in Northern Ireland. The top three played in the 2009 ICC World Twenty20, the international championship of Twenty20, Twenty20 cricket. The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the global Sports governing body, governing body of cricket. Gary Wilson (cricketer)
Gary Craig Wilson (born 5 February 1986) is a former Irish cricketer, who is a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman. He played for Ireland in Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals, with his first appearance for the national side coming in 2005. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Ireland's first ever Test match, against Pakistan, in May 2018. George O'Brien (cricketer)
George Hubert O'Brien (born 16 September 1984) is a Bermudian cricketer, who played with the Bermudian cricket team in their first One Day International when they played Canada on 17 May 2006. O'Brien took two wickets as Bermuda won the game by three wickets under the Duckworth–Lewis method. Three days later, O'Brien took two more wickets against Zimbabwe. He has since gone on to represent Bermuda in four ODIs, but has been the subject of some controversy. His contract with the Bermuda Cricket Board was terminated in October due to a lack of motivation and commitment and a poor work ethic. In July 2010, O'Brien was the victim of a machete attack, which left him with serious injuries. Colin Smith (Scottish Cricketer)
Colin John Ogilvie Smith (born 27 September 1972) is a Scottish cricket player. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. He made his début for the Scottish cricket team against Surrey on 23 June 1999 and has played for Scotland 119 times in all. This includes three One Day Internationals, his first coming against Pakistan in June 2006. He has also played for Sussex and Warwickshire at second XI level. In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Steven Devonne Outerbridge (born 20 May 1983) is a former Bermudian cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He played for Bermuda in 23 One Day Internationals, making his debut at this level against Canada in August 2006. Sarika Siva Prasad (born 7 November 1959) is an Indian-born international cricket umpire based in Singapore. He officiated in five matches during the 2009 Women's Cricket World Cup, including the 3rd-place playoff match. Prasad was born in Visakhapatnam, India. Niels Gunnar Bagh (born 9 March 1961) is a Danish cricket umpire who serves on the ICC Associate and Affiliate International Umpires panel. Bagh first officiated a match of note in 2001 when Staffordshire played the Worcestershire Cricket Board in a List A match in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. Four years later, Bagh stood in his maiden first-class fixture, between the Netherlands and Scotland in the 2005 Intercontinental Cup. Stormont (also known as Civil Service Cricket Club) is an international and first-class cricket ground in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Alex Cusack
Alex Richard Cusack (born 29 October 1980) is a former Australian-born-Irish cricketer. A club cricketer for Clontarf, Cusack was a carpenter by trade until he was awarded a professional contract with the Irish Cricket Union in 2009. He played as a middle-order right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium-fast deliveries. Cusack made his international debut in 2007. In 2009, Cusack became one of the first two players to be given contracts with Cricket Ireland.
