The 2007 Spengler Cup was held in Davos, Switzerland from December 26 to December 31, 2007. All matches were played at host HC Davos's home Vaillant Arena. Adler Mannheim
The Adler Mannheim (English: ''Mannheim Eagles'', formerly Mannheimer ERC) is a professional ice hockey team of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, the highest-level ice hockey league in Germany. The team is based in Mannheim, a city in the northern part of Baden-Württemberg. Currently, the team plays at SAP Arena, where they moved to at the beginning of the 2005–06 season after having played at Eisstadion am Friedrichspark for nearly seven decades from 1938 through 2005. They have won the German Championship a total of eight times, seven of those coming after 1994 in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Ryan Keller
Ryan Keller (born January 6, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played in Switzerland, Finland and various North American minor league teams, and the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League. Playing career Keller spent four seasons playing junior hockey in the Western Hockey League for the Saskatoon Blades. Since turning pro in 2005, Keller has had spells in the American Hockey League for the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Syracuse Crunch and also in the United Hockey League for the Muskegon Fury. In 2005, Keller played pre-season games for Sparta Warriors in Norway, before leaving to train with the NHL Detroit Red Wings. In 2007, he moved to Finland, signing for Espoo Blues. He played on the team for two seasons, leading the team in scoring in both seasons. Keller returned to North America in 2009 to sign with the Ottawa Senators. Kirby Law (born March 11, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger who played nine games over parts of three seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers. Playing career Born in McCreary, Manitoba, Law was not selected in any NHL draft. In the 2005-06 AHL season, his final in that league, Law led the league in scoring with 110 points for the Houston Aeros. Law left the AHL and in his fourth year abroad played in Swiss Hockey League with HC Ambri-Piotta. HC Dynamo Pardubice is a professional ice hockey club that plays in the Czech Extraliga. Its home venue is Enteria arena (Pardubice), Enteria arena located in Pardubice. Hockey Club Davos is a professional Swiss ice hockey club based in Davos, Switzerland. Davos plays in the National League (NL). The team is usually a strong force in the league and often bolster their roster with Swiss national team players and players who once played for National Hockey League teams. Vaillant Arena
Eisstadion Davos is an indoor arena in Davos, Switzerland. It is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena of HC Davos. It holds 7,080 people, of which 3,280 are seated. Every year the Spengler Cup is played in this arena. Major renovation of the arena started at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season to upgrade most of the stands and the concourse. The seating capacity will not be increased and the total cost should be around CHF 27 million. Construction began in 2018 and is expected to be completed by 2021. Speed skating The open natural ice rink beside the arena, ''Eisstadion Davos'', was in the past (up until 1997) the venue for many international speed skating events and many speed skating world records have been broken here. It still continues to be used for Swiss Championships in speed skating.
