HC Dynamo Pardubice
HC Dynamo Pardubice is a professional ice hockey club that plays in the Czech Extraliga. Its home venue is Enteria arena (Pardubice), Enteria arena located in Pardubice. The club was originally named LTC Pardubice, acquiring its current name at the start of the 2015–16 Czech Extraliga season, 2015–16 season. History Ice hockey has been played in Pardubice since the beginning of the 20th century. Hockey's beginnings in Pardubice can be traced to the Matiční jezero where bandy, a hockey-like game, was played. This style of hockey was adopted from football – there were 11 players, opposing goals, a ball, and a football-like field. The first match of ice hockey was played in 1913 on the very same lake. Players such as Vilém Weiss, Potůček, Reiberg, Přibík, Komeštík and Kubeška played in this match. František Musil
František Musil (born December 17, 1964), more commonly known in North America as Frank Musil, is a Czech former professional ice hockey player who spent several seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Minnesota North Stars, Calgary Flames, Ottawa Senators, and Edmonton Oilers. Musil is currently an amateur scout for the Sabres and assistant coach for the Czech national ice hockey team. Playing career Musil was selected in the second round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, 38th overall, by the Minnesota North Stars. Jiří Crha (born 13 April 1950) is a Czech former ice hockey goaltender. He played 69 games in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs between 1980 and 1981. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1969 to 1993, was spent first in the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League and then the German Eishockey-Bundesliga. The Golden Hockey Stick () is an award given to the top Czech ice hockey player. It was originally awarded to the top player in the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League, beginning in the 1968–69 season. Vladimír Martinec
Vladimír Martinec (born 22 December 1949) is a Czech former ice hockey player. He played as a Winger (ice hockey), right winger during the 1970s and early 1980s, and won the Golden Hockey Stick award as top player in Czechoslovakia four times, in 1973, 1975, 1976, and 1979. Internationally, he played for the Czechoslovakia men's national ice hockey team, and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2001.
