The 2004 Armenian Cup was the 13th edition of the Armenian Cup, a football competition. In 2004, the tournament had 18 participants, out of which 4 were reserve teams. Results Preliminary round The matches were played on 10 March 2004. First round The first legs were played on 14 and 15 March 2004. The second legs were played on 18 and 19 March 2004. Quarter-finals The first legs were played on 22 March 2004. The second legs were played on 26 March 2004. Semi-finals The first legs were played on 3 April 2005. FC Araks
Araks Ararat FC (), is Armenian football club from the town of Ararat, Ararat Province. Club history The club was founded in 1960 as FC Ararat to represent the town of Ararat. With the independence of Armenia, the Ararat Cement Factory took over FC Ararat in 1993 and the club was renamed FC Tsement Ararat. They played in the Armenian Premier League and won two titles, the first in 1998 as Tsement and the 2nd in 2000 as Araks Ararat. The following year, Tsement yielded the championship to FC Shirak by two points and ended up on the third spot behind Ararat Yerevan. However, after many successful years, the club president ''Abraham Babayan'' was unable to finance the club. Eventually, the rights were sold in late 2000 to a new sponsor based in Yerevan and Araks Ararat FC was dissolved. FC Pyunik
Football Club Pyunik (), commonly known as Pyunik (), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 34 won to date. FC Shirak
Football Club Shirak (), commonly known as Shirak, is an Armenia, Armenian professional sports club based in Gyumri. Shirak is known for its professional association football, football team which is one of the oldest football clubs in Armenia, having been created in 1958. The club is the only team that participated in all seasons of the Armenian Premier League since its creation in 1992 in Armenian football, 1992 until 2020–21 Armenian Premier League, 2021. Ararat Arakelyan (, born on 1 February 1984 in the Armenia), is a retired Armenian International footballer who played as either a defender or midfielder. Carl Lombé
Carl Lombé (born 18 May 1986 in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian–Armenian footballer who played for Cypriot side Aris Limassol F.C. Despite being capped for Armenia at youth level, he is still eligible to play for Cameroon as he never played for Armenia in the senior team. Biography Lombé moved to Armenia in 2002 and signed a contract with Pyunik FC in March 2003. In 2005, he joined Rapid București along with Apoula Edel by unilaterally terminated his contract without just reason. Zhora Hovhannisyan (, born 16 April 1987) is an Armenian footballer. Club career Hovhannisyan played for FC Pyunik before switching in July 2004 to Greek team Olympiacos. In January 2008, he moved on loan from Olympiacos to Greek Beta Ethniki club Agios Dimitrios. Hovhannisyan joined Doxa Kranoula in July 2008 and, in January 2009, moved to A.O. Balep Ba Ndoumbouk (; born 24 October 1987 was an Armenian football player. Club career In 2002, Ndoumbouk joined Pyunik, initially playing with Pyunik's second and third teams.
