2001–02 KNVB Cup
The 84th edition of the KNVB Cup (at the time called ''Amstel Cup'') was the 84th edition of the Dutch national football annual knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. 86 teams contested, beginning on 4 August 2001 and ending at the final on 12 May 2002. Ajax beat Utrecht 3–2 and received the cup for the fifteenth time. FC Twente
Football Club Twente (), sometimes known internationally as FC Twente Enschede, is a Dutch professional Association football, football club from the city of Enschede. The club was formed in 1965 by the merger of 1926 Dutch champions Sportclub Enschede with Enschedese Boys. Sportvereniging Huizen is a football club based in Huizen, North Holland, Netherlands. They are currently members of the Vierde Divisie, the fifth tier of the Dutch football league system. RBC, previously known as RBC Roosendaal, is a football club based in Roosendaal, Netherlands. RBC currently plays in the fifth-tier Vierde Divisie after bankruptcy in 2011, restarting the club in the tenth tier Vijfde Klasse. History 1912–1949: Formative years, mostly Tweede Klasse RBC, the idea of Frans Mathijsen and Anton Poldermans, was formed on 31 July 1912. Alles Door Oefening Den Haag (), commonly known by the abbreviated name ADO Den Haag (), is a Dutch association football club from the city of The Hague. They play in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, following relegation from the Eredivisie in the 2020–21 season. FC Lisse is a Dutch football club from Lisse, founded in 1981. It currently plays in the Derde Divisie. History The history of FC Lisse is linked to its Catholic religion, the first version of a football club being formed in 1911 by a local Catholic priest, called Lissese Voetbal Vereniging, which was later renamed Lisse Racing Club. In 1921 a separate team, RKVV Lisse, was formed. In 1942 Lisse RC was dissolved, and after World War Two another club, Lisser Boys, was formed. In 1968 an unsuccessful attempt was made to merge RKVV Lisse (later called Sportclub Lisse) and Lisser Boys, but on 17 March 1981 the teams were merged under the name FC Lisse. FC Blauw-Wit Amsterdam () was a Dutch football club from Amsterdam. The name referred to the colours of their uniform, blue and white. History Founded on 10 May 1902 as a local club in the Kinkerbuurt area of Amsterdam, from 1928 it started to play its home matches in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Almere City Football Club is a professional football club based in Almere, Netherlands. Founded in 2001, the club currently compete in the Eerste Divisie, following relegation from the Eredivisie in 2024–25. They play their home matches at the 4,501-capacity Yanmar Stadion.
