2000–01 KNVB Cup
The 2000-2001 KNVB Cup (at the time called ''Amstel Cup'') was the 83rd edition of the Dutch national football annual knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. 86 teams contested, beginning on 8 August 2000 and ending at the final on 24 May 2001. Roda JC unsuccessfully defended its 2000 title in the Quarter-finals losing to PSV, 0–2. Twente successfully pursued its 2nd #Final KNVB Cup on 24 May 2001 in De Kuip, Rotterdam losing to PSV, 0–0 (penalty score, 3-4). 45,000 attended. Twente contested the UEFA Cup. Roda JC
Sportvereniging Roda Juliana Combinatie Kerkrade (; ), shortly as Roda JC Kerkrade () or commonly Roda JC or simply Roda, is a Dutch professional football club based in Kerkrade, Netherlands. Roda JC Kerkrade plays in the Eerste Divisie. The club was founded by a merger between Rapid JC and Roda Sport in 1962. They were placed in the Eerste Divisie, and after a relegation they were promoted back to the top division in 1973, where they would stay for 41 years until being relegated in 2014. Telstar (football Club)
Sportclub Telstar () is a Dutch professional football club based in the town of Velsen-Zuid, North Holland. The team competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of the Dutch football league system, following promotion from the Eerste Divisie in the 2024–25 season. The club was founded on 17 July 1963, as a merger between the professional departments of rivals VSV and Stormvogels. The new club was named ''Telstar'', after the then recently launched communications satellite. Telstar plays its home games at the Sportpark Schoonenberg, renamed ''711 Stadion'', for sponsorship reasons. HFC Haarlem
HFC Haarlem was a Dutch football club from the city of Haarlem, established in 1889 and dissolved in 2010. The club won the Eredivisie in 1946 and reached five Cup finals, winning in 1902 and 1912. Haarlem reached the second round of the 1982–83 UEFA Cup, losing to Spartak Moscow of the Soviet Union. Haarlem was declared bankrupt on 25 January 2010, and excluded from professional football with immediate effect. Haarlem played its last professional match on 22 January 2010, a 3–0 away loss to Excelsior. Aanhouden Doet Overwinnen 1920, simply known as ADO '20, is a Dutch association football club from Heemskerk. They are currently playing in the Dutch Tweede Divisie. The club was founded on 15 May 1920 as ''Aanhouden Doet Overwinnen 1920''. The home games are played at Sportpark de Vlotter. In February 2007, ADO '20 entered into a partnership with AZ Alkmaar in the field of youth development, knowledge exchange and scouting. This partnership has enabled ADO '20 to improve its youth academy. The most renowned youth prospect of the ADO '20 academy has been Jeffrey Gouweleeuw, who also played professionally for AZ. VV SHO, or in the long form Voetbalvereniging Steeds Hooger Oud-Beijerland, is a Dutch football club from Oud-Beijerland. It was established on 18 July 1930 and plays on Saturdays. RBC, previously known as RBC Roosendaal, is a football club based in Roosendaal, Netherlands. RBC currently plays in the fifth-tier Vierde Divisie after bankruptcy in 2011, restarting the club in the tenth tier Vijfde Klasse. Alles Door Oefening Den Haag (), commonly known by the abbreviated name ADO Den Haag (), is a Dutch association football club from the city of The Hague. They play in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, following relegation from the Eredivisie in the 2020–21 season. Voetbalvereniging Nieuwenhoorn is a football club based in Nieuwenhoorn, South Holland, Netherlands. Founded in 1929, they are currently members of the Eerste Klasse, the sixth tier of the Dutch football league system. They play their home matches at Sportpark Nieuwenhoorn.
