2000–01 KNVB Cup
The 2000-2001 KNVB Cup (at the time called ''Amstel Cup'') was the 83rd edition of the Dutch national football annual knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. 86 teams contested, beginning on 8 August 2000 and ending at the final on 24 May 2001. Roda JC unsuccessfully defended its 2000 title in the Quarter-finals losing to PSV, 0–2. Twente successfully pursued its 2nd #Final KNVB Cup on 24 May 2001 in De Kuip, Rotterdam losing to PSV, 0–0 (penalty score, 3-4). 45,000 attended. Twente contested the UEFA Cup. Sportvereniging Roda Juliana Combinatie Kerkrade (; ), shortly as Roda JC Kerkrade () or commonly Roda JC or simply Roda, is a Dutch professional football club based in Kerkrade, Netherlands. Sportclub Telstar () is a Dutch professional football club based in the town of Velsen-Zuid, North Holland. The team competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of the Dutch football league system, following promotion from the Eerste Divisie in the 2024–25 season. HFC Haarlem was a Dutch football club from the city of Haarlem, established in 1889 and dissolved in 2010. The club won the Eredivisie in 1946 and reached five Cup finals, winning in 1902 and 1912. Haarlem reached the second round of the 1982–83 UEFA Cup, losing to Spartak Moscow of the Soviet Union. Haarlem was declared bankrupt on 25 January 2010, and excluded from professional football with immediate effect. Aanhouden Doet Overwinnen 1920, simply known as ADO '20, is a Dutch association football club from Heemskerk. They are currently playing in the Dutch Tweede Divisie. The club was founded on 15 May 1920 as ''Aanhouden Doet Overwinnen 1920''. The home games are played at Sportpark de Vlotter.
