Wrexham F
Wrexham ( ; ) is a city in the north-east of Wales. It lies between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley, near the border with Cheshire in England. Historically in the county of Denbighshire, it became part of the new county of Clwyd in 1974. It has been the principal settlement and administrative centre of Wrexham County Borough since 1996. Mark Bonner (footballer)
Mark Bonner (born 7 June 1974) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. During his career, he made over 300 appearances in the Football League. He began his professional career with Blackpool, making his first team debut at the age of just 17, and went on to make over 200 appearances for the side in all competitions. In 1998, he turned down a new contract at Bloomfield Road and instead joined Cardiff City, nicknamed the Bluebirds, where he spent six seasons. In 1999, he spent a brief period on loan at Hull City to regain match fitness after struggling for playing time at Ninian Park, playing one match before returning to Cardiff due to injury. Paul Brayson (born 16 September 1977) is an English footballer who plays for Newcastle Benfield as a striker. Brayson is widely regarded as a Newcastle Benfield legend, scoring over 250 goals in his first 8 seasons with the club, and winning Northern League Player of the Season in both 2014/2015 and 2017/2018 seasons. Scott Young (Welsh Footballer)
Scott Young (born 14 January 1976) is a Welsh former professional footballer. Club career Young was born in Tonypandy. He made his first appearance for Cardiff City, under then manager Eddie May, on 6 November 1993 in a 3–1 victory over Stockport County at the age of sixteen. He became a popular figure during his 11 seasons at Cardiff City, especially after scoring the winning goal in the 2–1 win over Leeds United on 6 January 2002 in the third round of the FA Cup. A one-club man since graduating from the Ninian Park ranks, Young made 275 league appearances for the Bluebirds. Unfortunately his later years with Cardiff were blighted by a persistent back injury and he retired at the end of the 2003/04 season at the age of 28. Gareth Owen (born 21 October 1971) is a Welsh former footballer, who played as a midfielder for various English and Welsh clubs between 1989 and 2011. He is the manager of Wrexham AFC Women Under 19s. Lawrence Davies (born 3 September 1977) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a striker. He made 17 appearances in the Football League, and represented his country at youth level. Ian David Stevens (born 21 October 1966) is a Maltese retired footballer. He was raised in Lancaster, England, and educated in the city at Ripley St. Thomas C of E High School. Playing career Preston North End and Stockport County Stevens was spotted by Preston North End while playing non-league football, Preston North End signed him as a professional in November 1984. Kevin Patrick Nugent (born 10 April 1969) is an English professional football manager and former player. He is the manager of the Millwall U23 team. Playing career Nugent began his career at Leyton Orient in the 1980s and made over 100 appearances in all competitions for the club, spending time on loan at Cork City during the 1988–89 season.
