1992 AFC Asian Cup
The 1992 AFC Asian Cup was the 10th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan between 29 October and 8 November 1992. The host nation, Japan, defeated the defending champion Saudi Arabia in the final in Hiroshima. This was the first Asian Cup not to have any debuting countries. Fahad bin Al-Harifi bin Fahad Al-Husseini Al-Bishi (; born 10 September 1965) is a former Saudi Association football, footballer who played for Al Nassr FC, Al-Nassr FC and the Saudi Arabia national football team, Saudi Arabia national team. Sirous Ghayeghran () (22 January 1962 – 7 April 1998) was an Iranian footballer and former captain of Iran national football team. Playing career Club career He played most of his club career for Malavan FC. In 1990, he signed for Ai-Ittihad of Qatar. Farshad Pious (; born 12 January 1962) is an Iranian retired association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), forward for a number of clubs in Iran, most notably Persepolis F.C., Persepolis, as well as the Iran national football team, Iran national team.
