Relax (Frankie Goes To Hollywood Song)
"Relax" is the debut single by English New wave music, new wave band Frankie Goes to Hollywood, released in the United Kingdom by ZTT Records in 1983. The hit version, produced by Trevor Horn and featuring the band along with other musicians, entered the UK Singles Chart, UK Top 75 singles chart in November 1983 but did not crack the Top 40 until early January 1984. Three weeks later it reached number one, on the chart dated 28 January 1984, replacing Paul McCartney's "Pipes of Peace (song), Pipes of Peace". One of the decade's most controversial and most commercially successful records, "Relax" eventually sold a reported two million copies in the UK alone, easily ranking among the ten List of best-selling singles in the United Kingdom, biggest-selling singles in the UK. Joseph Anthony Pereira (born September 10, 1950), professionally known as Joe Perry, is an American musician best known as a founding member, guitarist, backing and occasional lead vocalist of the Rock music, rock band Aerosmith. ''Thriller'' is the sixth studio album by the American singer and songwriter Michael Jackson, released on November 29, 1982, by Epic Records. "Thriller" is a song by American singer Michael Jackson. It was released by Epic Records on November 11, 1983 in the United Kingdom and on January 23, 1984, in the United States, as the seventh and final single from his sixth studio album '' Thriller''. "Thriller" is a disco song featuring a repeating synthesizer bassline and lyrics and sound effects evoking horror films. It includes a spoken-word sequence performed by the horror actor Vincent Price which begins at the 6:33 mark on the music video and 4:25 in the album version.
