10 News
10 News is the national news and current affairs division of Network 10. Its flagship program airs at 5:00pm on weekday evenings, with editions produced from studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. National bulletins are presented from the network's main studios in Pyrmont, Sydney. The news division also draws upon the resources of ITN, APTN and Reuters for select international coverage outside that of its owners Paramount Global and sister agency CBS News. History Network 10's news service was introduced on 2 August 1964 with the launch of ATV-10 in Melbourne, followed on 5 April 1965 by TEN-10 in Sydney. Steve Liebmann
Steve Liebmann (born 4 May 1944) is an Australian retired television presenter, journalist and radio broadcaster. Liebmann is best known for co-hosting '' Today'' on the Nine Network between 1982 and 1986, and again from 1990 to 2005. Early life and career Born in Cooma, New South Wales, he attended Monaro High School. He became a journalist in Cooma on Radio 2XL while still in high school. He hosted "Teen Scene" from 5:30 pm to 6:00pm on week days, playing the latest records. Liebmann relocated to Canberra in 1962 and worked at radio 2CA, before moving to Sydney later in 1962 to take up a position with radio station 2UE. Ann Sanders
Ann Sanders (born 15 March 1960) is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. Sanders currently presents '' Seven Afternoon News Sydney.'' Career Sanders began her broadcasting career with SAS-7 in Adelaide, South Australia as a weather presenter before moving to Seven Perth. During this time she won two consecutive (1981/1982) Logie Awards for Most Popular Female Personality in Western Australia. She moved to Sydney in 1983 to join Network Ten as a consumer reporter and news presenter before returning to the Seven Network as a news presenter in 1988. Lee is perhaps best known for her association with Network Ten where she was a Logie Award-winning news presenter at TEN-10 in Sydney from the 1970s to the 1990s. Kerry Michael O'Brien (born 27 August 1945) is an Australian journalist based in Byron Bay. He is the former editor and host of '' The 7.30 Report'' and '' Four Corners'' on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). He has been awarded six Walkley Awards during his career. Jana Bohumila Wendt ( ; born 9 May 1956) is an Australian Gold Logie award-winning television journalist, reporter and writer. Early life Wendt was born in Melbourne to Czech parents who emigrated to Australia in 1949, as political refugees on account of her father's work as a journalist for a Czech dissident newspaper. Wendt attended Presentation College, Windsor before graduating at the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts (French, Honours) in 1979. William Woods (born 1962 in Moruya, New South Wales) is an Australian television journalist, radio and television broadcaster, and author. Tracey Leigh Spicer is an Australian newsreader, Walkley Award-winning journalist and social justice advocate.
