ナ経ka Tadasuke
was a Japanese samurai in the service of the Tokugawa shogunate. During the reign of Tokugawa Yoshimune, as a magistrate () of Edo, his roles included chief of police, judge and jury, and Yamada Magistrate () prior to his tenure as South Magistrate (Minami Machi-bugyナ) of Edo. With the title Echizen no Kami (Governor of Echizen or Lord of the Echizen), he is often known as . He was highly respected as an incorruptible judge. In addition, he established the first fire brigade made up of commoners, and the Koishikawa Yojosho (a city hospital). Later, he advanced to the position of , and subsequently became of the Nishi-ナ敬ira Domain. ナ経ka was born in 1677, but did not come into public notice until he was 35, when he was appointed an obscure judgeship. Ichikawa Danjナォrナ XII
was a Japanese actor. He was the twelfth kabuki actor to hold the illustrious name Ichikawa Danjナォrナ. Career He was the eldest son of Ichikawa Danjナォrナ XI. He first appeared on stage in 1953 under his birth name Natsuo Horikoshi, and in 1958 took the name Ichikawa Shinnosuke. In 1969, he graduated from Nihon University, and took the name Ichikawa Ebizナ X, acting in major roles such as the title character in ''Sukeroku'' and Togashi in '' Kanjinchナ''. He assumed his present name in 1985, appearing as Benkei (again in ''Kanjinchナ''). is a Japanese actor. Born in Dalian, Kwantung Leased Territory, he graduated from high school in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. A member of the 13th group of actors and actresses trained at the Haiyナォ-za, he counts Tetsuo Ishidate, Toshiyuki Hosokawa, Tomomi Satナ, and Gナ Katナ as classmates. (Abarenbナ Shナ紅un) was a Japanese television program on the TV Asahi network. Set in the eighteenth century, it showed fictitious events in the life of Tokugawa Yoshimune, Yoshimune, the eighth Tokugawa clan, Tokugawa ''shナ紅un''. The program started in 1978 under the title ''Yoshimune Hyナ甲anki: Abarenbナ Shナ紅un'' (''Chronicle in Praise of Yoshimune: The Unfettered Shナ紅un'') who went after rogue councilors and ''daimyナ'' who were abusing their power. was a Japanese entertainer and actor. Katナ starred in the long-running TV series ''ナ経ka Echizen'' (1970~2006). Overviews The son of an elementary school principal, Katナ studied literature and theatre. As an actor, he made his film debut in 1964. Katナ rose in popularity through his role as Toshiro Mifune's son in ''Samurai Rebellion''. is a Japanese prime-time television ''jidaigeki'' series. From March 16, 1970 to March 15, 1999, 402 episodes and 15 seasons were broadcast. Also, a two-hour special aired on March 20, 2006, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the '' National Gekijナ'', which occupies the Monday evening 8:00窶8:54 pm time slot on the TBS network, sponsored by Matsushita. It alternated, seasonally, with '' Mito Kナ肯on'' and '' Edo o Kiru''. The title character is ナ経ka Tadasuke, a historical person who was a magistrate in the city of Edo (the forerunner of modern Tokyo) during the time of Tokugawa Yoshimune in the eighteenth century.
