ナ経ka Echizen
is a Japanese prime-time television ''jidaigeki'' series. From March 16, 1970 to March 15, 1999, 402 episodes and 15 seasons were broadcast. Also, a two-hour special aired on March 20, 2006, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the '' National Gekijナ'', which occupies the Monday evening 8:00窶8:54 pm time slot on the TBS network, sponsored by Matsushita. It alternated, seasonally, with '' Mito Kナ肯on'' and '' Edo o Kiru''. The title character is ナ経ka Tadasuke, a historical person who was a magistrate in the city of Edo (the forerunner of modern Tokyo) during the time of Tokugawa Yoshimune in the eighteenth century. The magistrate acted as chief of police, judge and jury. The show was a detective-courtroom program. Actor Gナ Katナ created the title character and played him throughout the life of the series. is a genre of film, television, and theatre in Japan. Literally meaning "historical drama, period dramas", it refers to stories that take place before the Meiji Restoration of 1868. , better known by the stage name , is a Japanese kabuki and film actor. Life Born in Tokyo, the son of kabuki actor Nakamura Shidナ I, young Nakamura made his kabuki debut at the age of eight. is a Japanese actor and voice actor. He is affiliated with Mausu Promotion. Biography After graduating from Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, Terasoma joined Haiyuza Theatre Company. was a Japanese actor. Career In 1959, Wada was scouted and joined Nikkatsu Company at the age of 15. Wada's film debut was the 1959 film ''Mugon no Rantナ'' directed by Katsumi Nishikawa. In 1971, he left Nikkatsu and became a freelance actor. As a freelance actor he appeared in supporting roles in such films as '' The Street Fighter's Last Revenge'', '' New Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Last Days of the Boss''.
