Óscar Husillos
Óscar Husillos Domingo (born 18 July 1993) is a Spanish sprinter specialising in the 200 and 400 metres. He won the gold medal in the 400 m at the 2021 European Indoor Championships and a silver at the 2019 European Indoor Championships. Husillos is the Spanish indoor record holder for the 300 m and 400 m, and a former record holder for the 200 m. He has won a total of 17 national titles, between outdoors and indoors. During the final of the 2018 World Indoor Championships 400 m he ran a time of 44.92s, which would've-been an European Record and tied for sixth on the all-time list. But ultimately, he got disqualified after very slightly stepping over the adjacent lane. 2016 European Athletics Championships
The 2016 European Athletics Championships was held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, between 6 and 10 July 2016. It was the first time the Netherlands hosted the event. Due to 2016 being an Olympic year, there was no racewalking and the marathon competition was replaced by half marathon. The Russian team did not participate due to the suspension of the All-Russia Athletic Federation by the International Association of Athletics Federations. However, Yuliya Stepanova was individually cleared by the IAAF to compete as an independent athlete; she participated in the European championships under the flag of the European Athletic Association. 2014 IAAF World Relays – Men's 4 × 200 Metres Relay
The men's 4 × 200 metres relay at the 2014 IAAF World Relays was held at the Thomas Robinson Stadium on 24 May. The rarity of this event at the elite level was evidenced by the poor handoffs. Apparently the athletes involved didn't know their exchange zones. Jermaine Brown (athlete), Jermaine Brown came to a complete stop in the zone, and received the handoff from Warren Weir as he was being passed. Even with this ugly handoff, the Jamaican team still dominated the race and set a new world record. Their closest competitor was St. Kitts and Nevis, whose flaw had less of an effect on their performance, Brijesh Lawrence running on the inside of the turn, correctly put out his right hand to receive the baton, but incoming Lestrod Roland also had the baton in his right hand and had to make the handoff awkwardly across his body.
