Élisabeth Morin
Élisabeth Morin-Chartier (; born 10 October 1947) is a French politician of the Agir party who served as Member of the European Parliament for the West France constituency from 2009 European election until 2014. Before joining Agir in 2018, she was a member of the Union for a Popular Movement and the Republicans (LR). Political career Morin was Vice President of the Poitou-Charentes Regional Council under Regional President Jean-Pierre Raffarin and assumed the presidency upon Raffarin's nomination as Prime Minister of France. Her list in the 2004 regional elections was defeated in a near-landslide by the Socialist list, led by Ségolène Royal. Morin was also a member of the French Economic and Social Council between September 2004 and May 2007. Quaestor (European Parliament)
In the European Parliament, the quaestors are elected to oversee administrative and financial matters directly affecting Member of the European Parliament, members (MEPs) as well as other duties assigned to them by the Parliament's Rules of Procedure or the Bureau of the European Parliament. Five quaestors are elected among the MEPs for two and a half year-terms, i.e. half a parliamentary term. Election Quaestors are elected after the President of the European Parliament, President and Vice-President of the European Parliament, Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament. Rule 18 of the Rules of Procedure dictates that quaestors are elected by the same procedure as the Vice-Presidents, meaning that one or more single ballots are held until all five seats have been filled via either absolute majority (first two ballots) or relative majority (3rd ballot). 2004 French Regional Elections
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve. A rapporteur is a person who is appointed by an organization to report on the proceedings of its meetings. The term is a French-derived word. For example, Dick Marty was appointed ''rapporteur'' by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to investigate extraordinary rendition by the CIA. Martin Schulz (born 20 December 1955) is a German politician who was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Germany from 1994 to 2017 and a Member of the Bundestag (MdB) from 2017 to 2021. During his tenure he was Leader of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats from 2004 to 2012, President of the European Parliament from 2012 to 2017 and Leader of the Social Democratic Party from 2017 to 2018.
