Alejandro "Àlex" Casademunt González (30 June 1981 – 2 March 2021) was a Spanish pop singer, actor, and TV presenter. He entered the music industry after finishing in tenth place in the musical contest ''Operación Triunfo (series 1), Operación Triunfo 2001''. Biography 2001–2005: ''Operación Triunfo 2001'', ''Fórmula abierta'' and ''Inquietudes'' While Casademunt was working as appliance technician, in 2001 he saw an advertisement and decided to attend the casting for the new music contest ''Operación Triunfo (series 1), Operación Triunfo'', broadcast by Televisión Española, and was accepted. He was eliminated and but then returned and finished tenth in the competition. Vilassar De Mar
Vilassar de Mar () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Maresme in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the coast between Premià de Mar and Cabrera de Mar, to the north-east of Barcelona. The town is both a tourist centre and a dormitory town for Barcelona, and is also known for its horticulture. (), was a Spanish reality television show, based on the British reality TV competition ''Strictly Come Dancing'' as part of the ''Dancing with the Stars'' franchise, in which a group of celebrities competed in a dancing contest of several styles over several weeks, partnered with dance professionals. The Catalan Media Corporation (; ) is the public radio and television company in Catalonia owned by Generalitat de Catalunya.
