''The Black Parade Is Dead!'' is a live album by the American rock band My Chemical Romance, released on June 27, 2008, through Reprise Records. Featuring a CD and a DVD, the release includes live recordings of two performances from the bands The Black Parade World Tour, Black Parade World Tour, in support of their third studio album ''The Black Parade''. These performances include their final as the "Black Parade" alter-ego band at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, and a later performance at Maxwell's in Hoboken, New Jersey. The Mexico City performance portion of the release only features every song from ''The Black Parade'' performed live, while the Maxwell's performance features a more varied track list of material from that album and their previous works, including a previously unreleased song which has been retroactively named "Someone Out There Loves You" by Gerard Way. Bob Bryar
Robert Cory Bryar (December 31, 1979 – November 24, 2024) was an American musician and sound engineer best known as the drummer of American rock band My Chemical Romance. He was the longest-tenured and last official drummer in the band, performing in the rock group from 2004 until his departure in 2010. Bryar joined My Chemical Romance shortly after the release of the band's second studio album ''Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'' in 2004, replacing former drummer Matt Pelissier. He performed on all of the subsequent releases in support of the album, as well as the band's commercially successful concept album, '' The Black Parade'' (2006). "Welcome to the Black Parade" is a song by the American rock band My Chemical Romance from their third studio album '' The Black Parade'' (2006). It was released as the album's lead single on September 12, 2006. An emo and pop-punk song, it opens up with a piano introduction that evolves into a fusion of several other rock-esque genres throughout its run time. The lyrics are based around the album's central character, the Patient, as he recalls a childhood memory before his death. According to band frontman Gerard Way, the broader theme of the song is about the "triumph of the human spirit". Devin Sarno
Devin Sarno (born in Glendale, California in 1966) began CRIB in early 1990 as a solo bass sound project focusing on improvised subsonics. Over the course of a decade (and over a dozen recordings) his music evolved from high volume feedback experimentation to a sonic examination of the meditative properties of low-end drone music. In 2003, the CRIB moniker was retired & Sarno now performs & records under his own name. James Dewees
James Matthew Dewees (born March 13, 1976) is an American musician best known for his work with The Get Up Kids, Reggie and the Full Effect and My Chemical Romance. He has also been involved in other musical projects including New Found Glory, Coalesce, Leathermouth, and Death Spells.
