Habbān
The habbān (or hibbān) is a type of bagpipe used in the coastal regions of the Persian Gulf (especially Bahrain, Israel, and Kuwait). The term ''ḥabbān'' (''هبان'') is one of several Arabic terms for the bagpipes. The term is drawn from ''Hanbān'' (هنبان), the Persian word for "bag.". In Gulf states the term ''habban'' refers to the traditional Holi (inhabitants of the eastern coast of the Persian Gulf) bagpipe. The habbān is also called the jirbah (). It is similar to the Ney-anbān and jirba. While the term itself is generic, in Oman the term ''habban'' is used specifically for a nativized variant of the Great Highland bagpipe that has been incorporated into local music. Zampogna (, , ) is a generic term for a number of Italian double chantered bagpipes that can be found throughout areas in Latium. Swedish Bagpipes
Swedish bagpipes (säckpipa, , or ''dråmba'', ''koppe'', ''posu'', or ''bälgpipa'') are a variety of bagpipes from Sweden. The term itself generically translates to "bagpipes" in Swedish, but is used in English to describe the specifically Swedish bagpipe from the Dalarna region. Volynka
The volynka (, , – see also duda, and koza) is a bagpipe. Its etymology comes from the region Volyn, Ukraine, where it was borrowed from Romania. The ''volynka'' is constructed around a goat skin air reservoir into which air is blown through a pipe with a valve to stop air escaping. (Modern concert instruments often have a reservoir made from a basketball bladder}. A number of playing pipes wo to fourextend from the reservoir holding the air.
