Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is an international organization focusing on women ages 40 and under who are diagnosed with breast cancer. Ann Partridge
Ann Hart Partridge is an American medical oncologist. She is the founder and director of the Young and Strong Program for Young Women with Breast Cancer at the Susan F. Smith Center for Women's Cancers at the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute. Early life and education Partridge was born in Manhasset, New York to a vascular surgeon father Henry. After her mother suffered a psychotic break, Henry raised her and her three siblings as a single father. Breast cancer is cancer that develops from breast tissue. Signs of breast cancer may include a lump in the breast, a change in breast shape, dimpling of the skin, milk rejection, fluid coming from the nipple, a newly inverted nipple, or a red or scaly patch of skin. In those with distant spread of the disease, there may be bone pain, swollen lymph nodes, shortness of breath, or yellow skin.
