It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Initiated in 1991, the database was first made available on the Internet in 1994. AllMusic is owned by RhythmOne. Karl Backman
Karl Backman, (born 27 October 1970, Umeå) is a Swedish artist and musician. Music Backman became involved in Punk rock in 1980 and started his first punk band the Boredom Brothers in 1982 when he was squatting in Umeå. He formed the punk band The Vectors in 1990, with whom he was the lead guitarist and part vocalist throughout their career. The Vectors split up in 2008. Backman was also the lead guitarist and the main songwriter in AC4, a hardcore punk band he started in 2008 with ex-Refused members Dennis Lyxzén and David Sandström. Sometime in the late summer of 2013 Backman formed a band called The T-55's, as AC4 was on a break, and in late 2016 he started his current band Acid Blood. Brian Eno
Brian Peter George St John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno (; born Brian Peter George Eno, 15 May 1948) is a British musician, composer, record producer and visual artist best known for his contributions to ambient music and work in rock, pop and electronica. Frontier Records
Frontier Records is an independent record label, started in 1980 in Sun Valley, Los Angeles by Lisa Fancher, a former employee of Bomp! Records and writer of the liner notes for the first album by The Runaways. History Frontier Records first found success with the release of the Circle Jerks album '' Group Sex''. The label went on to put out records by such bands as Suicidal Tendencies, American Music Club, Heatmiser, Redd Kross, Thin White Rope, T.S.O.L., Christian Death, and the Young Fresh Fellows, among others. On November 7, 2010, Frontier Records hosted a party for their 30th anniversary at the Echoplex in Los Angeles which featured a reunion by seminal punk band Middle Class, their first performance in nearly 30 years. ''No New York'' is a compilation album released in 1978 by record label Antilles under the curation of producer Brian Eno. Although it only contained songs by four different artists, some consider it to be a definitive single album documenting New York City's late-1970s no wave movement. Background and production Early in 1978, New York's Artists Space hosted an underground punk rock music festival with several local bands.
