Vladimír Čech (25 September 1914 – 2 February 1992) was a Czechoslovak film director and screenwriter. He directed more than 35 films between 1941 and 1980. His 1971 film '' The Key'' was entered into the 7th Moscow International Film Festival The 7th Moscow International Film Festival was held from 20 July to 3 August 1971. České Budějovice (; german: Budweis ) is a city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 93,000 inhabitants. Bohemia
Bohemia ( ; cs, Čechy ; ; hsb, Čěska; szl, Czechy) is the westernmost and largest historical region of the Czech Republic. Bohemia can also refer to a wider area consisting of the historical Lands of the Bohemian Crown ruled by the Bohemian kings, including Moravia and Czech Silesia, in which case the smaller region is referred to as Bohemia proper as a means of distinction. A film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects and visualizes the screenplay (or script) while guiding the film crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision.
