Valērijs Šabala
Valērijs Šabala (born 12 October 1994) is a Latvian footballer, who plays for B36 Tórshavn of the Faroe Islands Premier League. Club career Early career As a youth player Šabala was a member of Daugava Rīga academy. With the club winning the 2008 Latvian First League and being promoted to the Latvian Higher League for the 2009 season, Šabala was one of the youngsters to be included in the first team squad by the manager Vladimirs Beļajevs. Šabala made his debut on 15 October 2009, having just turned 15, when he came on as a substitute in the 46th minute in an 8–0 loss against the defending champions FK Ventspils. Three days later he appeared in the match against FC Tranzit, coming on as a substitute in the 88th minute. Valērijs Agešins
Valērijs Agešins (born June 23, 1972 in Liepāja) is a Latvian politician and lawyer. He is a member of Harmony and a deputy of the Saeima, elected to represent the Kurzeme electoral district. He began his current term in parliament on November 4, 2014. From 1994-1998 he studied at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University in Kaliningrad, graduating in history. He obtained a master's degree in pedagogy, and in 2002, he graduated from the Baltic Russian Institute as a lawyer. He is not however, a qualified attorney. From 1997-1998 he worked in a teacher training summer camp and from 1995-1999 as a law and political science lecturer at the Institute of Social Technologies. Valērijs Kargins or Valery Mikhailovich Kargin (russian: Вале́рий Миха́йлович Каргин; born March 27, 1961, in Riga) is a Latvian economist and banker was the president of Parex Banka, from 1998 to 2008. In October 2000, he and Viktor Krasovitsky had accumulated over 200 million lats together. He created the first travel agency and the first currency exchange corporation in the Soviet Union. Valērijs Žolnerovičs (born April 19, 1985 in Ventspils) is a Latvian Olympic athlete. He is the current holder of the Latvian record both in marathon and half marathon. Trained by Dainis Lodiņš, Žolnerovičs finished the 3000m steeplechase at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing with a time of 8:37.65 (32nd overall).
