United National Liberation Front
The United National Liberation Front (UNLF), also known as the United National Liberation Front of Manipur, is a separatist insurgent group active in the state of Manipur in Northeast India which aims at establishing a sovereign and socialist Manipur. Background The United Nation Liberation Front's movement manifested as a result of several similar movements of the same political agenda. RK Meghen
Rajkumar Meghen (born 21 September 1944) alias Sana Yaima (precious son) is a Manipuri separatist politician and former chairman of United National Liberation Front. Personal life Meghen is the second son of RK Madhuyarajit Singh & Laitonjam Ningol Hemabati, and the great grandson of Prince Tikhendrajit(however there is no significant evidence to proof the claim as Prince Tikendrajit died as a bachelor), the military commander for Manipur Kingdom in the Anglo Manipuri War. He graduated from St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College in Kolkata and went for his Master's degree from Jadavpur University in International Relations. Meghen has two sons; Chingkhei and Chinglen. The Meitei Pangals ( mni, Meitei Pangan), also known as the Pangals ( mni, Pangan) or the Meitei Muslims ( mni, Meitei Pangal) or the Manipuri Muslims ( mni, Manipuri Pangal), are a group of Muslims who speak Meitei language as their native tongue. The Insurgency in Northeast India involves multiple armed separatist factions operating in some of India's Northeast India, northeastern states, which are connected to the rest of India by the Siliguri Corridor, a strip of land as narrow as wide.
