Toy Story (video Game)
''Toy Story'' is a 1995 platform game published by Disney Interactive for the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy, and Microsoft Windows. It is based on the 1995 film of the same name. Gameplay Players control Woody through several stages that encompass the entire plot of the film. Several obstacles lie between the player and the goal of each level, including an assortment of enemies. Woody is equipped with a pullstring whip, which will temporarily tie up opponents, letting Woody pass by unharmed. It cannot, however, kill enemies (with the lone exception of Nightmare Buzz, the only boss in the game to be permanently defeated through the whip). This whip can also latch onto certain hooks, letting Woody swing above perilous terrain. The game occasionally changes genres for a stage. Sheriff Woody Pride (or simply Woody) is a fictional pull-string cowboy doll who appears in the Disney–Pixar ''Toy Story'' franchise. In the films, Woody is one of the main protagonists, alongside Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. He is primarily voiced by Tom Hanks, who voices him in the ''Toy Story'' films, short films, and TV specials. Hanks's brother, Jim Hanks, voices him in video games, attractions, and other merchandise. Woody was created by directors and writers John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and Joe Ranft. Tec Toy S.A., trading as Tectoy since 1997, is a Brazilian toy and electronics company headquartered in São Paulo. It is best known for producing, publishing, and distributing Sega consoles and video games in Brazil. The company was founded by Daniel Dazcal, Leo Kryss, and Abe Kryss in 1987 because Dazcal saw an opportunity to develop a market for electronic toys and video games, product categories that competitors did not sell in Brazil at the time. ''Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow'' – originally released as ''Donald in Maui Mallard'' – is a platforming video game developed and published by Disney Interactive. The game was released in Europe on November 1995, and in Brazil in spring 1997 for the Sega Mega Drive. It was also ported by Eurocom Entertainment Software to the SNES and released in North America in January 1997, in Europe mostly in autumn 1996 (although the SNES version was released in Germany at the end of 1995), and in Japan on December 20, 1996. Tiertex Design Studios Limited was a British software development company and former video game developer based in Macclesfield, England; it was founded in 1986, focusing on porting games to home computers and handheld platforms. A squeaky toy (also squeak toy, squeaker toy, or squeeze toy) is a soft, hollow toy made from flexible materials such as rubber or vinyl, and usually equipped with a small device known as a ''squeaker.'' Mechanism When the toy is squeezed, air is forced through the squeaker, resulting in a high-pitched sound, such as a squeak, or the sound of a toy horn or whistle. Platform Game
