Sunil Tatkare
Sunil Tatkare is an Indian Politician currently serving as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Raigad. He was formerly served as the Member of Legislative Assembly, Maharashtra from Shrivardhan (Vidhan Sabha constituency) as Minister of Water Resources, Maharashtra. He formerly also served as the leader of Nationalist Congress Party in Vidhan Sabha. Tatkare has been alleged to have been associated in number of cases due to which the Anti-Corruption Bureau has sought the state government's nord to launch an "open inquiry" against him over allegations of land grab and disproportionate assets. Enforcement Directorate had started probe against him in assets case. He was born in Sutarwadi Kolad on 10 July 1955 and studied up to Inter science from Ferguson college in Pune. Maharashtra Legislative Assembly
The Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha or the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the legislature of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Ferguson College
Fergusson College is an autonomous public-private college offering various courses in the streams of arts and science in the city of Pune, India. It was founded in 1885 by the Deccan Education Society. Professor Vaman Shivram Apte was its first principal. Social reformer, journalist, thinker and educationist Gopal Ganesh Agarkar served as the second principal from August 1892, till his death in June 1895. Raigad District
Raigad district (Marathi pronunciation: aːjɡəɖ, previously Colaba district, is a district in the Konkan division of Maharashtra, India. The district was renamed to Raigad after the fort that was the first capital of the former Maratha Empire, which in turn was renamed from its earlier name - Rairi. The fort is located in the interior regions of the district, in dense forests on a west-facing spur of the Western Ghats of Sahyadri Range.
