Sundbyberg Studios
Sundbyberg Municipality (''Sundbybergs kommun'' or ''Sundbybergs stad'') is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, just north of the capital Stockholm. Sundbyberg is wholly within the Stockholm urban area and has a 100% urban population. Sundbyberg was detached from Bromma (which since 1916 is in Stockholm Municipality) in 1888 as a market town (''köping''). It got the title of a city in 1927. In 1949 parts of Solna Municipality and Spånga Municipality (when the rest of Spånga was amalgamated into Stockholm) were added. A proposed merger with Solna in 1971 was never implemented, making Sundbyberg, with an area of , the smallest municipality in Sweden, but also the most densely populated. The municipality prefers to call itself a ''city'', which, however, has no legal significance. Bromma
Bromma () is a borough (''stadsdelsområde'') in the western part of Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Stockholm Municipality. Bromma is primarily made up of Bromma Parish and Västerled Parish. The fourth largest airport in Sweden and the third largest of the airports close to Stockholm, the Stockholm Bromma Airport, was first built in Bromma in 1936. Råsunda (district)
Råsunda is a district in Solna Municipality, and a suburb in the Stockholm metropolitan area with around 17 500 inhabitants. Mariehäll
Mariehäll is a suburb of Stockholm and a district in the north-east of the Bromma borough of Stockholm Municipality. In 2019, Mariehäll had 9,024 inhabitants. Mariehäll was originally part of the farm Bällsta. At the end of the 19th century Mariehäll became an industrial area, owing to its proximity to the then recently founded suburb Sundbyberg. An area of detached homes south-west of Mariehäll, then called ''Bällsta villastad'', came to be included within Mariehäll. By 2003 the number of inhabitants were 1,368. In the 2000s, a high-density residential area called Annedal was built in northern Mariehäll, increasing its population manifold. Lilla Alby
Lilla Alby is a district in the southern corner of Sundbyberg Municipality, Sweden. It lies southwest of the railway Mälaren Line. It is separated from Bromma ( Stockholm Municipality) by bay Bällstaviken (part of lake Mälaren) to the southwest, and borders Solna Municipality to the south and east, and Centrala Sundbyberg to the north. Lilla Alby has 4,235 citizens (as of 2013). History The earliest account of the name ''Alby'' (meaning ”Alder village”) comes from 1553, referencing property of the church and local farmers. Rissne
Rissne is a neighborhood in the western part of Sundbyberg Municipality, Stockholm, Sweden. It has about 7500 inhabitants and borders to Stora Ursvik in the north, Duvbo and Hallonbergen in the east, and in the west and south to Bromsten, the latter one within Västerort in Stockholm Municipality. The area belonged to what used to be Spånga municipality until its dissolution in 1949, when it for example together with Duvbo was transferred to Sundbybergs stad. The name comes from Risö, which was the name that the Vikings used. The Svea Artillery Regiment had its camp there until 1960. An apartment block was built 1982 to 1988. Vulnerable Area
Vulnerable area ( sv, Utsatt område) is a term applied by police in Sweden to areas with high crime rates and social exclusion. In the December 2015 report, these areas numbered 53. In the June 2017 report, these totalled 61. The increase is reported to be due to better reporting, not a changing situation. The overall trend is that these areas are improving. All the areas are situated south of the town of Gävle, however only 11,4% of Sweden's total population live in the Norrland region, and most are areas constructed during the Million Programme (MP), although there are towns north of Gävle having MP areas they do not experience the crime rate of some southern MP areas. Duvbo is an upper-middle-class residential area in Sundbyberg in suburban Stockholm, Sweden. In 2019 it had 2217 inhabitants. Spånga
Spånga is a community and parish in the borough of Spånga-Tensta in Stockholm County, Sweden. Background Spånga was an independent municipality until January 1, 1949 when most of it was merged with the City of Stockholm, with smaller portions of the area merging with Solna, Sundbyberg, and Sollentuna municipalities. Spånga was originally the name of a village centered on Spånga Church (''Spånga kyrka''), which dates to the 12th century. Solna Municipality ( sv, Solna kommun or , ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre.
