The Sun of Moscow (russian: Солнце Москвы, Solntse Moskvy) is a panoramic wheel in VDNKh park, Moscow, Russia. It was constructed in 2022 as a replacement for previously dismantled Moscow-850. At 140 m high minus the height of the elevated platform, it became the tallest Ferris wheel in Russia and in Europe Europe is a large peninsula conventionally considered a continent in its own right because of its great physical size and the weight of its history and traditions. Moscow-850 (russian: Колесо имени 850-летия Москвы) was a Ferris wheel in the amusement park "Moscow-850" on the territory of VDNKh (Russia), VDNKh (''Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy''), built for the 850th anniversary of Moscow. It was dismantled in 2016 and was replaced in 2022 by Sun of Moscow. Moscow-850 had a diameter of and an overall height of , made a full turn in 7 minutes, was equipped with 40 cabins, accommodating 8 people each. At the time of its construction, Moscow-850 was the tallest extant Ferris wheel in Europe, but in 1999 it was surpassed by the 90-metre Eurowheel at Mirabilandia (Italy), Mirabilandia, Italy.
